Can’t even lie that list of ins and outs has given me a semi. Almost enough for me to change my tip to Port, but then I remember this is exactly the game where the Giants will play themselves back into form and get the belief that they can go on and win the flag.
The ins have given me an actual interest in the game for a change, I'll probably regret feeling this way by half time.

Nice to see some real changes for once.
Davies: Kenny, we need to make some drastic changes to the side as the white noise is becoming deafening.
Donuts: Make whatever changes you want as long as McEntree is still in the team. I'm busy watching the Dapto Dogs.

Let me guess because I can’t be ****ed reading the article one if those people is cassisi?
A couple of ex-Port Adelaide premiership stars can see a similarity between the 2004 Power side and the current Giants team they lead.

Why would Cassissi think the Giants resemble 2004 Port? Its Kingsley and Montgomery.

They're also the players in the picture.

The thing is does Hinkley have the brains to let this lineup roll for a few weeks or will it be hurr durr bring Dixon back next week he kicked a goal in the SANFL and looked angry gee gaw gah.
Of course when we drop this game it will be vindication to Hinkley that we should be playing Hinkleyball to Dixon all along.

Just having a look at the ins and outs.

Happy to see Dixon out, his form has been dreadful.
Happy to see Finny as well and hopefully he gets some form back.
Happy to see Burton out but I wish it was an omission and not an injury.
Not happy to see Lachie Jones omitted.

Happy to see Rozee and Lord back.
I like Dylan but I'm lukewarm because I like the potential of Jones but I'll give him a go.
Not that happy with Narkle. He's OK.

Happy we are going in with one less tall and one more small.

Very unhappy that McEntee and Evans are still in the side. That is a borderline joke.

I'm a tad worried our medium defenders will be too slow for Toby Greene, Bedford and Daniels and our medium forwards are not skilled enough and be burnt with the run off half back.

A good test for the team.

Well, I suppose Williams and Narkle did have a reasonable game in the last SANFL game. Williams though was slower than an iceberg in his last AFL game and will be a weak point for us which a good coach will exploit.

I couldn't believe it when last game they brought Dixon in and left Finlyason in the team. So I think it should have been Dixon for Finn last game and now Lord for Dixon.

Probably a fair call. I think 3 talls in the forward line is enough, but I thought they mightn’t go down that path until Rioli is back so we’ve least got a small forward weapon.

At the moment it’s 3 talls and a couple pressure forwards.

I’m assuming rozee and jhf might spend a bit of time forward.

Sorry I was being sarcastic. Anyone who thinks that this team under donuts is anywhere near the 2004 side has rocks in their heads. When I was young and care free back in 2001-2004 I followed port religiously with many trips interstate etc. That team had its issues with finals but was no near as flakey or mentally inept as the current team is. I sat in the 3rd of the Olympic stand at the G on September 25th 2004 and had no fear as to what Port Adelaide would show up that day. Twenty years later and the club resembles nothing of what it was and that is on Koch, Richardson, Davies, Hinkley and the current board.

Ummm not what they said though. The comparison to Port 2004 is Giants 2024 not Port 2024.

Are you already on the red? :p

As I said, didn’t read it. And no I haven’t had a drink in over 2 weeks as I have been recovering from developing pneumonia a week and a bit back. The joys of a suppressed immune system 🤦‍♀️

No wonder you're angry! :p

Take it out on Hinkley, we understand.

Pneumonia is awful, been there, definitely don't want to do that.

Not sure I can watch the game tomorrow as it will increase my anger 😂

It hasn’t been fun. Not as bad thankfully as my last bout, which landed me in hospital.
