A Song

It would be nice to think we could win but that would just be believing in daydreams ...

A little pre-game sonnet, to get us in the mood to win. I hope. Not my best work, but I guess it's okay.

To PAFC, based on Shakespeare's Sonnet 18

Shall I compare thee to Bombers team?
Thou hast more injuries and long-term shame.
Rough winds and weather give me a wet dream,
But thy forward line hath too short a name.

Sometime too good the team of Bombers play,
But often are their top-four chances dimmed.
And every game by game they do decline,
By chance or are too busy being rimmed.

And thy eternal winter shall not end,
Nor lose possession by bad turnovers,
Nor shall Rucci say thou art an s-bend,
When in the midfield are good ruck-rovers.

So long as Port play and players not quit,
Thy can denounce Essendon as shit.

Lobbe to dominate hopefully. With him and Redden we should be able to work over Bellchambers physically. Just don't think we have the class to win the match. Prove me wrong boys!

Port will win today,

But I think its fair to say the biggest winner is going to be Leigh Whickers corporate box construction crew who will be required to reconstruct the entire corporate section due to in influx of Warriors, Crown Wearing Kings and genuine bad-asses.

Just wanna see us take the game on like Primus keeps saying we are supposed to, Take a risk, attack hard when without the ball and lets show ye faithful something, if its not a win at least it will show some character, cmon boys, heart on the sleeve time, fire up !
