Cold, but perfect conditions in Sydney for the game. Should be pretty dry under foot, with Olympic Park not getting any rain yesterday.

After a 16 day sabbatical, the much anticipated PAFC comeback tour kicks off at the Sydney Showgrounds. The boys have gone away for the past few weeks to undertake some new learnings, which should translate to working harder for much longer periods of the game. It’s a scary competition though, so be sure to pack an extra pair of jocks for this blockbuster ride.

If you’re new to the game, the Giants will be led by the alpha looking male with big biceps, while the visiting side will once again be marshalled by the poorly dressed Sith Lord charlatan, with effeminate hand gestures.

Teams with dynamic small forwards are a huge problem for Port, as GWS has 4 of them. The back 6 selection definitely looks better, but like the chopping and changing of the rucks, they probably won’t be a gelled unit. Need to keep them accountable, they don’t need much space.

Expect Drew to run with Green in the middle. I wonder if McEntee will terrorise Taylor? The big 3 up forward need to keep Taylor accountable. Hopefully, they will move it around him…
