What is it with Richmond and North supporters thinking there is a rivalry between us? Its all one way guys, we don't think about your clubs at all.
The only thing I can think of is that the Norf supporters wanted us to lose because if there was another upset it would take the spotlight of their not-so-surprising loss to Carlton. As for Richmond..... we gave them Chaplin.

PORT Adelaide coach Ken Hinkley admits his team again has to learn how to deflect pressure after surviving a scare from Melbourne while sending off former captain Dom Cassisi at Adelaide Oval yesterday.
And while the three-point win that broke the Power’s three-game losing streak was not enough
to give Port a return to the AFL top four on percentage, there will be much debate on the free kick for high contact in a marking contest that handed Power forward Chad Wingard a shot at goal after the third-quarter siren.
“I think it was a free kick,” Hinkley said. “It looked like he was hit front on — that’s the rule. The angle he was put on (for his kick) was tough.”

Yowser! Saw SupportMe in his wheelchair on the bridge on the way out afterwards. I never really noticed the slight upward incline on the southern side until then. I offered to give him a little push but he declined saying he was still moving better than our team.

Cheers mate. Not a great day for the boys.

If we play like that against the Swans in three weeks it'll be a massacre.

At the game, I counted at least 5 shots at goal which Melbin got from free kicks, 4 of which were unwarranted or debateable. Amazed that anyone could say that we got a ride.

Umpires gave us a ride wtf, umpy number 6 needs a police escort out of adelaide oval
Dean Margetts is a massive campaigner, why is it always the most experienced umpire that likes to over officiate one way when we play Vic teams?

Also not sure why everyone's saying we got an armchair ride with free kicks, they made it pretty easy for the Dees to counter attack when they were gifted about 8 soft ones in our heavily congested forward 50.

The game starts so early I figured by the time I dragged myself out of bed in the morning and had breakfast it would be time to go. Can't let my fanbase down... besides nobody wants to do gameday threads unless it's against top 4 teams. :p
Ford Fairlane 's fanbase!:D

Absolutely spot on!!

Why was N Jones awarded a free after R Gray missed from his set shot?
Apparently we can't even touch our opponents other wise it's a free! yet B Vince can throw elbows at us and not get a 50m?

L Dunn also needs to harden the fk up, that should never ever be a free kick, If Schulz gets a week for that look out AFL!

Same could be said re N Jones, staying down after P Stewart laid a legal hip and shoulder, don't put a head in places it shouldn't be.

Also how loud was that POWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWER chant when we hit the front after Schulz's goal... Not bad for a 38k crowd. :)
