Makes Bonner's game just extraordinary. Can definitely hold his head up high. Not the most talented and toughest guy but at least he tried.

Because they didn't need to win 3 weeks ago and they needed to win tonight.

That loss meant they finished 5th had they won against us they would have finished with 16 wins and could have finished as high as 2nd. Three weeks ago they had as much incentive as we did.

Where to from here?
We managed to lose more respect this year than this time last year. Watching yesterday and today im going to say it unpopular opinion but has to be said.

The game has gone past Robbie and Boak. Yes Boak still racks it up but watching Oliver/Petracca and tonight Bont/Libba/Macrae/Dunkley/Smith absoloutly sprint out of packs when we look so slow chasing tails behind our veterans confirmed it for me. These sub 190cm young beasts go against our sub 180cm players and guess who wins the contest? Yes rob and trav will always be club legends but we are at a point in time we cant turn to them anymore. It is no longer 2014.

Rozee is to us what Dale Thomas was to the pies. Drew and Wines are our only young mids then it falls off a cliff. SPP will probably get traded and doesnt have the cleanliness of a petracca or oliver.

Then our depth; Hartlett who should get traded Woodcock Frederick Farrell more sub 180cm players in the off season we will probably add Dawson which will help a tad and Jase Burgoyne a skinny flanker. Jones and Georgiades will get more games next year but im sure yet we are nowhere near competing for a genuine flag

Where to from here?
We'll make some statement that it's unacceptable, then Ken will enter his 10th year at the head of a good list without even a GF appearance, Jonas will stay captain, everyone who fails to stand up when it counts will still be here, Woodcock and Fredrick will be delisted.
On another point, how many young guns have gone to to be genuine A graders?

The holy trinity of Port supporting media campaigners in Kochie, Rucci and Cornes couldn’t get you over the line. Rucci sprouting nonsense, Cornes saying a ‘change of guard’ had occurred in Adelaide in terms of ‘the number 1 team’ and Kochie…geez where do we start. What a campaigner.

And the supporters eat it up.

It’s the ‘how sh*t are your kids, and gee how good are ours’, it’s the overconfidence coming into tonight’s game, and it’s constant mentions on your board of the Adelaide Crows who still live rent free in your heads.

Pride has well and truly come before the fall. The sheer arrogance of your club, it’s supporters, it’s management, it permeates through every facet of your organisation now, and it’s all come home to roost.

If 2-3 players don’t show up on the night then OK, some have off nights. It happens.

But for the entire team to come out with no desperation or desire? That’s on the coach. If an apparently “relationship” not tactical coach can’t rev up a team for prelim, what can he do?

We’ve now regressed and it can’t be swept under the rug

Being outnumbered 2 or 3 to 1 all over the ground is no coincidence - it's lack of desire, lack of intensity and lack of respect for your opponent. Disgraceful.
