Hawk defence is VERY short.

He will still have to actually catch the ball.

The way I see it if our forwards mark it (or earn frees due to their size) we win, if they drop it we get killed on the rebound.

The only reason I would want to see Port win is so Hawthorn don’t. Other than that I don’t give a **** how this goes. Watching just to say I saw Ken’s last game if it so happens to be his last.

I've been calling a honourable loss for a while.

The only things going for us are:

the young Hawk might find the lights too bright
the team usually bounces back emotionally from a loss
our form has been good for quite a while and last week was an aberration

The bad things against us:

apart from last week, we've been in good form but the Hawks are red hot
no run and kick out of defence. Houston, Farrell and Burton gone.
Rozee and Butters are down on form
our forward line is a mess save Georgiades and Rioli
their biggest strength is our biggest weakness that is their small forward brigade
no plan B
the Hornet will have to save the day
if we are down early, the crowd could get medieval

If the players want Hinkley gone, they will play below par.
I think the Hawks will run over us sometime in the second or third quarter and the game will be over.
There is a possibility of Butters, Dixon, Marshall and Aliir limping to the bench.

It is going to be a tough match to win but you never know.

Have a feeling Butters won't play. Port will lose. Ken will ring Kochy and say "youse all know we would've won if we had our 2 AA players for the finals". Kochy gets board numbers and veto's the footy committee's 7-year late recommendation to sack the coach. Ken Hinkley FC lives on. The nightmare continues...
