The Magpies can only play 17 AFL listed players in the finals and the rest are made up of Magpies top-up players. They are the rules given to us by the SANFL. Crows are in the same boat. Top-up Magpie players in my list are Corcoran, Davidson, Appleton and Strange. AFL listed players to miss out are Johnson (suspension), Grundy and Pudney.

Port website states that Essential Power members (we are Western Stand members) have access to the SANFL finals, so I guess we just scan our AFL tickets as we normally would for Power games and get in for zilch.

Cox, Woodcock and Farrell are all small Hungry Kevin Bartlett style forwards. None of this defensive pressure first shit when they know kicking goals is what its all about.

Selection: SANFL Qualifying Final

So quite a capable team. Decent reward for the top-up players and the AFL-listed players who've had little or no chance to play AFL. Hopefully we perform well enough for long enough to attract/retain decent top-up players in 2020. Good to see my 2019 Port Board Buddy Draft special friend Martin Frederick motoring on. I'll be there to watch.

Drew spent 10 weeks in the AFL and 13 weeks in the SANFL. He only played 10 SANFL games and had 3 SANFL byes. Seems fair to me.

There is nothing wrong with this thread at all. With new info, my opinions changed accordingly.
