Last night on FF was the 2011 game when we beat Essendon by 5 points at ANZ.
The ground surface was shocking for a start.
Some of the players , Jetta was like a scared rabbit in the headlights , a 19yo Sam Reid showed what a great talent he was . ROK, Goodes , Mattner and Jude showed why we went so well the next year , but the one that stood out was Mumford and seriously he was better than Grundy and would love him now
Love the Mummy. If he didn’t get the ball to advantage he’d try and hurt someone

Will there be a pre-season training thread posted shortly as usual? Just noticed first video on Swans Youtube channel of the time trial at first day's training this morning for the younger players. Think it might have been Corey Warner first, Cleary second, Roberts third based on the short video

And in Brisbane colours

Well, little milestone achieved for me... just became a Swans member for the first time!

I've always felt guilty for not having a financial investment in the club that is such a huge part of my life. I've spent almost my entire twenties being a student, working part-time and also being a caregiver for several years, living mostly on my missus' nursing wages. Combined with the fact I am lucky if I get to one Swans game all year round being in Perth, a membership just hasn't been worth it for me.

Circumstances have changed, so... it seemed a no-brainer for me. Hoping it will also motivate me to live a bit more #YOLO and get to Sydney for a few more matches next season :D

Think I will be doing the same. Never been in a position to join and make it worthwhile. Either haven't been there financially and/or simply don't have the time due to commitments to local football etc.

I have just started a new company and will be in Sydney every 4-6 weeks in the new year so I hope to schedule it alongside staying for a weekend and going to the SCG. I have never been there before so I hope to get to at least 3-4 games in 2025.

How long before the team list profiles are updated on the official Swans site? Days, weeks or months? If prior years are any indication, I'll go with the 'months' option.
I think it's usually after team photo day which is early new year from memory.
