Kingsley said that Acres wasn't picked due to fact he needs to work on his kicking. What have the coaching staff been teaching him over the last 6 months then? You've got a elite kicker in Lindsay Gilbee there, and they still haven't improved Blake's kicking.

So having a good kicking coach automatically means he'll improve?

We already got that in Mav. Don't like the idea of having 2 defensive forwards. One is enough and the other should be attacking/rotating with the mids.

I wouldn't describe Mav as a defensive forward. He has that element to his game but he's also a creative forward and contributes as a scorer. He was also used for mid rotations in the intra club

Is anyone else concerned if we dont sign billings to a new contract soon..i remember dodo saying druggers will be targeting a few youngsters from other clubs... And unfortunately billings family are essendon coterie members...

Exactly right. Players from Vic don't really have any purpose in moving.
Unless they can get paid a pile more.

They lose their mates, raise extra pressure on themselves, may have to move.
