New Balance gear looking solid. Guys like Harry Edwards who I’d hoped would bulk up a bit more are still looking lean. Pretty fit looking group otherwise, will be interesting to see how the seniors come back

No wonder shuey is back early .

Needs to get rid of that spare tyre before his official pre season starts

You can't read it on the day, but if you go to the City of Perth library page, then eresources and scroll down to Magazines and Newspapers you can select the West Australian digital edition. You can't see the paper for the day, but all the papers from the day before back are available. After you select the paper you want there is a 'sections' option at the top and you can go straight to the sport section without scrolling through the whole paper. You don't have to register or login.

He just turned 22 and is 200cm tall. He'll take another couple of Pre-seasons to thicken up IMO.

As long as he is building strength it will take care of itself.

I just saw him in the midfield drills, looked clean by hand.

He's always been relatively clean by hand and composed under pressure.

Hoping he can have a decent injury free run at it as his skills will complement our other mids. The main issue is up-to-now he has been majority outside, but with his lack of pace he will need to transition to inside or more balanced. Culley, LEdwards and a more explosive balanced mid (TK, plus whoever we draft) wouldn't be a bad stoppage combination.

If he can get his body right then he could be a great Redden replacement

Sheesh, only bloke who hasn't been touted as a Redden replacement now is Kane Lucas.

Bit harsh on Kane IMO.

The new season has a heartbeat! Great to see the beginnings with training commencing.
Now for the seniors...although Shuey+Yeo having calf/soft tissue injuries is all so familiar? Chesser looks primed and slick!
Re their new kit, New Balance is very apt! Needed.
