That game and the one against Brisbane in brissy were we had something like 22 frees against to like 5 at halftime

If Lions and Bloos finish top 4 would they just burn 14-18 and have enough points Particularly the Lions who's depth is right up there.?3 father-sons in the way-too-early 2024 top 10 draft prospects - Linked to Lions - Ashcroft, Crows - Welsh and Blues - Camporeale.
This is good for us. All of these clubs will hold mid-late 1st rounders next year and will be looking to trade them out.

I doubt it. Even with the discount it'd eat up their later picks. Blues will need more points for the other twin too. Lions don't have a 2nd round pick so they'll need a few 2nd and 3rd rounders to burn while still having a decent pick or two for the draft after Ashcroft.
We can't ream anyone with a points based deal. It's purely a numbers game. The points we give need to be slightly more than the pick they give us back otherwise there's no point them doing the deal.
If anything, we are the ones that could get reamed, we can only get back the pick they have, otherwise we are left with a bunch of junk picks.
Let's hope we have say roughly pick 5 worth of points value and someone that needs the points has pick 6 or 7 to trade us back.

Given they get the discount on the picks for F/S, so potentially we could win the point deal by 10% or so, and both teams would still come out even. Whether they would do it or not is another story

EDFL teams in Aber & Doutta Stars. Knew Balta was from there. Not Mon. The best thing out of Abers was Clinton Casey.!!!! Cops had to attend all Broadmedows games in a divvy van. It generally wasn't bad, although Doutta Stars had a guy called Peter Claire who loved a fight. One all in vs Glenroy after the game.
Doutta's song was shyte but their jumper used to have the one star in he middle. Bit like Ivan in the Harder they Come.

Adelaide in 2022 was fab too. One of the biggest reamings I can remember (and there have been plenty). Freo one this year another candidate, second half was absolutely woeful and nearly lost us the game
