I’ll do training reports focusing on new players.
Great stuff there saintmike65.

You'll no doubt call it exactly as you see it.....as you always do.

I can't see any MAJOR problems with that.

Not sure if he'll be training with the 1-4 year players, but I'm guessing Jack Macrae will have a lot of pressure on him with all of your focus just on him until the draft.

Always interesting to see which players are keen to start early. There are many who only got a one year contract, lets see who wants to fight for their career.

I am interested to see how Cordy looks. Been hopeless the last 2 preseasons. This is his last year on an AFL list if he doesnt improve. There is a spot opened up with Battle leaving. He obviously wont ever be a star but IMO if he worked hard on the track he could be a decent 3rd tall defender and do a decent job of replacing Battle

I think it is a log shot though... if he falls off the back of the runs like the past 2 seasons, then it is time to put a fork in him

Macrae & Steele running together at the back of the 200m sprints... #69 has got to be a good omen for the midfield.

Jones, Marshall, Clark among older players training.

I thought I'd get in early but Wilson, Pou and Garcia are maniacal in their training standards. Owens , Hastie and Irish are the other ones to watch this preseason I feel.

Edit, add in Butler, Byrnes and Stocker for the older ones. Stocker and Hammer rehab group it seems.

Irish is going heavily under the radar I feel. Not easy to get the majority opinion (by the Zebs boys) that a player is the one with most upside and excitement in a team
