Keeler is one they obviously want to school a bit. At one stage Lenny spoke to him because he let a player ho inside, Lenny said "where did you want to let him go there?" It's interesting how they coach the small things. He looks SO fit and his kicking is beautiful, definitely one to watch this year.

Only a small sample size but Boxhalls kicking was really bad. Doesn't appear to have a left and messed up a few on the right aswell.

Collard doing laps at a real slow pace, clearly has an injury I guess we may find out about it soon. Henry laps, only saw Nasiah doing laps but looks in ripping condition. Hastie only laps looks to be carrying something.

Arie was up close to us and he is massive, was really sweet with the kid. His boot is a weapon but he does sometimes miss targets, needs to iron that out.

It certainly was. I was 8 rows from the front. I still can't believe it wasn't paid. Another example, in the annals of GF history, of the saints being robbed of victory. This time by a vindictive umpire.
Schneider had been trying to milk frees too hard that day. Boy who cried wolf. I'm not surprised the ump didn't pay it.

I saw Ross driving a Cherry SUB in Church St Brighton at about 1pm today. Only putting in half days, another wasted year.

I, on the other hand, admire the cut of his jib

When Hugo gathered that ball last year, arched his back and accelerated away from the congestion, then laced out an inside 50 to Higgins leading across from him (not at him), I thought it just had shades of Nick Daicos.

Here's an inside look at St Kilda's Wednesday training session at a thundery RSEA Park. Plenty on the track, good intensity and no room for error with Round 1 only 60 days away. A big thank you to Stu Dwyer who was able to get down and capture this footage for those of us who could not attend.

Fantastic to be able to see these snippets.. thanks Saints TV

Holy crap, Dodson is as big a unit like you guys saying. Already competing well with Marshall.

Gobsmacked.

NAS only ran a few laps and spent a fair bit of time talking to the medical staff in front of me. Didn’t seem too stressed or hindered moving. May just have a slight niggle.

Plenty of goal kicking practice after training. Pou drilling plenty. Interesting Marshall was practicing goal kicking at half time of the match sim. He missed one on the whistle then took 4 or 5 shots from the same spot on th forward flank.

Mitch last one out there having set shots from the 50 with one of the coaches.

The Boss seemed to be in a good mood.

Leave Max King to kick goals thanks.

He'll definitely get that chance but there may need to be a contingency plan incase he starts going full Tyrone Vickery.

Thats what I saw when I waxed lyrical about Garcia, clean pick up from the contest on the run, into a gap, looked up, and hit a free mid lace out with a left foot kick of about 40 metres. The kid can football.

Yes I think we all noticed that passage of play.

He thought it all through, quickly, and then executed with great skill, and again quickly.

When i was a little tacker , i saw a Rolls Royce driving around a farm paddock near Hazelwood.
Turned out the state had bought the farm where the power station/open cut was built.
He spent some of his money on a Rolls Royce.

There was still lots of unused land and the guy had an agreement to still graze his cattle on it, and apparently it was pretty common for him to drive around the paddocks in the Rolls.

Similarly, Jeremy Clarkson was driving a Bentley round his farm on his TV show.

MG's, Chery's etc probably far less capable to handle the bumps on a dirt road.

One of my uncles had a Range Rover turned into a ute down there. That was a pretty flash way to drop hay bails back in the day.

Got down today. Really hard to see much with an eye on the youngster. Joel Selwood was down at training chatting to Travaglia and Barratt and Darcy Wilson.

Standouts for me were McConnell who looks like a really pesky spirited small defender that can rebound. He was opposed to Higgins at times and seemed tough to play on. At the end of the session I heard him asking Wilson to head back out to to do more. Seems really driven and I think a good chance to make it.

King looks in ripping nick and took a few big clunks in huge packs. Hammer was opposed to him at one stage so I think he's still a chance to be trialled in defence but to me didn't look natural there in this session.

Hugo looked very nice. At one stage in a Sim he grabbed it and absolutely took off and laced someone out in the middle of the ground. Just one passage but he looked elite. His pace can be a weapon.

I get a good vibe from Tobie. He just seems driven to make it as a player, really vibrant and positive seems another to add to Wilson and Pou who will bust a guy every session. He's a lovely size nice and tall whether it's a wing or eventually in the middle of at HB he'll play plenty this year.

Boyd in the ruck against Marshall was interesting, seemed to win the majority of hitouts and is very good at using his body in the ruck contests. Didn't notice him around the ground at all so can only comment on this part of his game. Marshall got plenty around the ground and looks in great nick.

In terms of size we were standing next to Barratt and he has the body of a 100 game player. Looks incredibly fit and strong. Hopefully he can football.

Nice to see Windy amongst it and looking fit. A lot of the guys don't really warrant comment, we just know what to expect I'm talking about Wood Hill Steele Sincs Higgo, they're pros.

The recruit that will CLEARLY have the biggest impact is Macrae, already looks like our best mid.

A little bit of argy bargey between Hill and Webster at one stage z players are obviously going 100% and competition is high

Biggest shout out goes to the players for being so willing to give their time at the end of the session for photos and autographs. This stuff makes a huge difference, the young'un absolutely loved it and it further cemented him as a diehard Sainter for life. All the players were so lovely to him.

If I think of any other tidbits I'll post them.
Was Selwood actually there? This concerns me and I hope he wasn’t there long and imparting too much knowledge. We all need money , but he’s known to ‘love’ money and heavily involved with one of the dodgiest couple of blokes ever. From all accounts this story is only scratching the surface

Wow
So Geelong players are money lenders.
Hope it all catches up with them. Could be a couple of flags with asterisks next to them soon.

Thanks Saints TV for the footage it is brilliant. I dont know if it was a part of the set plays or not, but did anyone else notice how well Boyd followed up the taps at ground level. Some of his movement were as quick as the midfielders if he can bring that against real opposition he will cause some damage.

The other thing that stood out from the obvious for me was I thought Boxshall kicking skills looked quite sharp.
