This is the best news I've heard recently.
A very important offensive weapon for us.
Good to hear that Henry is not far from participating in full training. However, after watching that footage from training, I still believe he's a long way off coming back and making an impact.
As you can see, he is still limping fairly heavily. The injury would have been horrific. In my opinion, the best case scenario will be to hope that we have a relatively good start to the year and then introduce him back into the team if he's close to 100 per cent.
For the first time in a while, it feels like we have sufficient depth to cover Henry's absence in the short term.

I heard him say two weeks.
Somebody mentioned two weeks (hopefully not the Hammill type of two weeks). He was running so much better than before preseason.
Seems he kept up his rehab to the fullest while at home for Xmas. Full training means the beginning of his preseason for him so wont have the condition for Round 1 would be my guess.

The guy next to me at training yesterday asked him how far away he was and Henry said two weeks. I assume that meant he’ll join full training in two weeks.
Given how much running they do it will be interesting to see how much extra conditioning he needs.

Every session is pretty much an open session at the moment. Seems pretty easy to get photos with players when they come off the ground.
Pre Christmas it was Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10.00 am
I got there yesterday at 10.10 am and they were well into it. Maybe it is a 9.00-9.30 am start post Christmas.
Used to finish around midday, finished up around 11.00 yesterday.
Give the club a call. They will let you know.

Just went through the whole list. Quick summary of who was and wasn’t training yesterday.
Clark - Unsighted on ground. On bike inside.
Collard - Laps
NWM - Few laps, discussion with medicos then went in.
Dow - If he was out there I didn’t notice him for the whole session. Don’t think he was there. I may be wrong.
Henry - Laps.
Hastie - Laps.
Tauru - Running program.
Barrat - Injured calf during session. Went in then came back out with compression bandage on calf and did no more training.
Said - No running at all. Had compression bandage on upper leg. Stood around watching whole session.
46? - Might be the Sandy Dragons kid. Stood out for most of the session. Not injured. Joined in later.
Everyone else on the list was there and did all the training, including Boyd, who was pretty competitive.
