Danger is ordinary too. Plenty of terrible kicks are elite players.

The big bodied burst from stoppage mids tend to be average kicks. Danger, Fyfe, Cripps can all butcher the ball. Dusty was probably the one who was different.

Peak insanity and stupidity to want to move one of the best rucks in the comp to the forward line where they are exceedingly average.

Kicked 13 goals in the last 9 games of the year after the bye last year.

That was the first decent stint of fwd line time he's had under lyons gameplan.

Clearly roma was ordinary fwd under ratts' chaosball crap.
But he's shown he can reliably kick goals under lyons gameplan when sent fwd regularly. (Albeit off a small sample size so far).

Except wasn't playing as a fwd, matched up on a defender, when he kicked the vast majority of those goals. He was playing as the ruck and working forward on his opponent so he was either alone or mismatched when we kicked it to him. Completely different skillsets at play there.

Just went through the whole list. Quick summary of who was and wasn’t training yesterday.

Clark - Unsighted on ground. On bike inside.

Collard - Laps

NWM - Few laps, discussion with medicos then went in.

Dow - If he was out there I didn’t notice him for the whole session. Don’t think he was there. I may be wrong.

Henry - Laps.

Hastie - Laps.

Tauru - Running program.

Barrat - Injured calf during session. Went in then came back out with compression bandage on calf and did no more training.

Said - No running at all. Had compression bandage on upper leg. Stood around watching whole session.

46? - Might be the Sandy Dragons kid. Stood out for most of the session. Not injured. Joined in later.

Everyone else on the list was there and did all the training, including Boyd, who was pretty competitive.

Over and out.
Dow was there

Henry - 2 weeks

Hastie - load management

Couldn't see Carroll but think he was there.

Yeah I don’t think I like these pricks hanging around our players and club.
i might be wrong, but first thing i thought when i saw him is enright looks set to be head coach at some point soon, thinking selwood would be a pretty good member of his coaching team,i dont like his free kick stuff either, but he was heart and soul and a winner,a couple traits that would do us no harm

Good player doesn’t necessarily make a good coach.

The Cats would be desperate to get Enright back and get Scott to hand over peacefully at the end of this year or next. I'd say that's why we moved Boris away from the coach's box and got Rivers in to learn from the master. We have a contingency plan, because if they come knocking I doubt Boris will resist.

Good call

No team in their right mind would be getting rid of Chris Scott. Underperformed for years but since he’s changed to a chaos game style he’s the best coach in it IMO. They’ve got have a couple of superstars but there’s no way that list should have been so close to a grand final.

They are plenty of other ex Geelong players coaching about the place, plus Geelong will be able to attract the best available if Scott ever decides to move aside. If Enright wants to go back to Geelong then he isnt the right person to take us forward simple, your club coach has to want the ultimate sucess for your club.
