The GBR (further abbreviated to just GB) might be a good nickname for defender ReefPut him down back and leave him there. He seems to be shining which is good. The Barrier Reef was always going to be a defender
Kinda nuts to see Josh and Nick at the club training on Christmas Day. Great signed for their 2025 seasons
But then I was at the gym last night and on Christmas Eve too so I guess family commitments were over for the day lol
More agile than Rankine? Not sure about that.A taller, more agile Izak Rankine you're saying. Done
Looking forward to your reports thanks Jen. Especially interested to hear how Allan, Reef and Parker are progressing and whether any of the other young ones are progressing, along with JDG and Michell. I am pretty positive on most of them.Who is ready for some training?
Resumes this thurs with a light session at 12:30
Then a main session on friday morning 9:30
I'm more curious about what preferred structure would be.Looking forward to your reports thanks Jen. Especially interested to hear how Allan, Reef and Parker are progressing and whether any of the other young ones are progressing, along with JDG and Michell. I am pretty positive on most of them.
Might be just his age and maturity that helps now filling outIt makes me wonder why it has taken until his fifth year and a near delisting to dedicate himself to building up physically and giving it a real shot.
Wow, you've nailed the timing then. Per Jen's comment, the first main one is on Friday at 9.30 (and I'm hoping to get down there as well).Wonder when the first announced open training session will be
Got 2 weeks off from the end of this week so gonna take the kids to a couple of training sessions during that time

It's been perceived on here that endurance has been an issue. So it might have been about the program he's been on rather than dedication. It makes me wonder why it has taken until his fifth year and a near delisting to dedicate himself to building up physically and giving it a real shot.

Jordy, Mitchell, HH in terms of fitness/readiness to play. What questions do we have leading into the rest of pre-season?
Jordy is obviously the big one. Is he fit? how fit? Will he play mostly forward, mid? Can his body handle full mid now?
I'm planning on being there on Friday, but the main questions I think I have would be:What questions do we have leading into the rest of pre-season?

Agree, my key uncertainty is JDG's fitness. My Top 10 items are:What questions do we have leading into the rest of pre-season?

In terms of perryman. From what ive seen it seems to be pretty much mid. Some defensive drills but in terms of the groups, he is always with the midfielders.I'm planning on being there on Friday, but the main questions I think I have would be:
- Jordy, to your point. Is he in full training? And which group does he train with?
- Perryman. Is he lining up with the backs or the mids?
- Reef. I know he is training as a key back, but want to see for myself how comfortable he looks down there (and how he performs against our genuine key forwards hopefully, rather than 3rd talls).
- Allan. Based on comments, I'm expecting him to get the Brownlow awarded to him at training on Friday, so I want to be there to see him receive it.
