I agree that there were some strange decisions but not too different to an average AFLW game really. Problem with most supporters is that they watch players for their team and see the most minor infringements. On the flipside, this means they are not watching the opposition as closely. Adelaide did try to break a lot of tackles and/or fend, which gives the umpires an reason to penalise them. Also, the umpires didn't cause Adelaide's structure to fall apart in the second half or cause the Lions to kick and handball straight to the Crows' defenders moving forward in the first half.

Bidell's problem was that she didn't go back far enough off the mark, but still took a step and changed her mind. Sometimes they are let go and should have at least tried to kick it. Mistakes deep in defence are also magnified.

THERE IS ZERO POINT HAVING A FREAKING REPLAY SCOREBOARD AT THE FREAKING GROUND IF YOU DON’T ACTUALLY SHOW ANY OF THE FREAKING GOAL REPLAYS ON IT!!!!!

Please figure out the timing of your promo stingers so they don’t completely blot out the replay EVERY SINGLE TIME.

It was incredibly annoying.

Could really argue that it’s been nonstop golden era. Two grand finals the first two seasons. Miss finals in 2019. Semi final exit in 2020. Premiership in 2021. Prelim exit in 2022A. Grand final in 2022B. Premiership in 2023. Now this year.

Been involved in the big dance in six of the nine seasons of AFLW. Really has been the best team alongside Adelaide in the AFLW.

I don't think the umpiring has even been mentioned anywhere in the media as having any impact on the game whatsoever.

Blaming the umps is always stupid, there's a million decisions and actions in games from players & staff on both teams.
Crows goal kicking, Crows failure to shut down Brisbane's change of gameplay in the 2nd half, and Lions leading the i50 tackle count, all contributed much more to the outcome of the game than umpiring decisions.
