Umps have a habit of looking after Saints in Prelims.First half 2005 Prelim Swans V Saints.18 frees to 2.Full Time from memory 23 to 6.Swans still win with 7 goal last qtr with one free only.Regardless St Kilda WILL NOT beat Collingwood OR Geelong.Have a feeling it might just be the Pies where they will get retribution for 66.

I feel for the bulldog supporters, they most probably controlled about 80% of the game but couldnt hurt the Saints on the scoreboard whereas the Saints got far less of the ball, but looked dangerous and scored almost every time they went forward.
No way they should of ever lost that game considering how much ball use they had.

Watch the first quarter and a half again. He had the ball several times heading into attack and either turned it over or kicked it to the Saints advantage almost EVERY time. Convert just two of those chances and the Dogs win the game. The commentators pointed them out too.
Geelong might, Collingwood would struggle as they did in the QF.
Could be a low scoring, scrubby GF like 2005.

Blatant deliberate out of bounds on Cornes not paid in the dying minutes in stkildas 50m arc. Could have spun the entire game around.
Yes the dogs were on the receiving end of some rubbish decisions like the free for Riewoldt 80 m from the play. But hey....we all get them.

Look I feel bad for the Doggies, but you can't tell me the Umpires cost them the game FFS, the Saints made the most of their foward oppotunities (and i'm watching the game now on C7) and the Dogs didn't ..
Stop being so disrespectful towards the winners, knowing they have the wood over the magpies in recent years (and i'm sure if they got through to the granny, they'd much prefer to play the Dogs then Saints)

St Kilda deserved the win. Dogs couldn't take their chances, and their forward line inadequacy showed up once again. Dogs will not make a GF without a key forward.

Excuses. Frees 17-17 over the game. And don't trot out the "its where you get them that matters", you had the ball in your forward line for most of the last quarter and kicked one goal.
The question you should be asking is who was playing on Lenny Hayes in the last 10 mins of the game.

I'm happy for the St Kilda football club but I'm struggling to find (many) classy Saints fan. SaintsManMat is a perfect example of why a lot of people hate the Saints.
Rather than being an ass clown, commiserate them and move on. When/If you get pumped next week you ought to be thankful that Geelong/Collingwood fans are (for the most part) classy and will not treat you the same way you're treating the Dogs.
As far as the Crows fans go, I find it funny that it's the Power fans that are supposed to be the gutter trash. I was treated with nothing but respect when I went to the Power game at AAMI. When I went to a Crows game, OMG, it's like I went into the ocean bleeding amongst a group of sharks.
