With some home ground cheating we probably could have beaten Melbourne and North to finish top of the ladder

We've had a fair few home matches where things have gone in our favour over the years. The umpires seem to mostly arrive at the game with an idea in mind as to which is the better team, and makes decisions accordingly.

I think we have to be willing to accept criticism of sour grapes or whinging. We have to make it clear that we won’t tolerate this rubbish. We’ve tried the ‘behind the scenes’ stuff for years. The AFL don’t give a shit about that. They only respond to public issues. It’s all about PR so we have to make it clear we will go nuclear if we need to

I totally agree, but this match isn't the time. We should have been making noises earlier this season and in previous seasons when it happened, perhaps that would have prevented this past weekend.

I could calculate the P value on that if I could be bothered, but just eyeballing it shows there is a proveable bias.
