28 august to 22 september was 26 days and we played 1 game which was the QF, they train as they play these days so it does not hinder your performance.
Better not tell David King that. As soon as I turned on the radio today he was talking about how long the Tigers haven't played for and that will work against us.

He didn't actually go as far to say that Collingwood would win because he's just not that brave...

Thought the whole point of winning the QF was to get the longer break and have the advantage? It’s only a disadvantage when it applies to Richmond. Have heard **** all about how much of a disadvantage it’s been for the eagles. Lol.

Lol. Dusty has been doing his own in season rehab type stuff all season in a gym at Port Melbourne for an injury he’s been carrying for the most part.
The whole list has been managed for the last 6 or so weeks too, nothing to worry about.

Hope you’re right. Reckon there’s something in this though.

Must've forgotten we were in the exact same position last year? It's not an unknown for us, and we've proved we manage long breaks well. The guy flip flops more than a politician. Not sure why long breaks are suddenly going to cause us a problem when it hasn't in the past.

Just look at the GWS prelim last year - they were absolutely gassed in the 3rd quarter and we were running on top of the grass right till the final siren.

Yeah he’s probably bloody sore if he got a corky but it won’t stop him from playing. If it’s something that can get worse then just rest him for the big one.

Listen to the Grimes presser, the media ask him this for 4 questions in a row, they are desperate for us to fail it's so damn obvious.

Dunno, but, he doesn't look great in this video from this morning....

Also, I'm 99% sure Grimes' comments are from before training, and he is talking about last week's "storm in a tea cup", so the video of Dusty looking sore ^^^^ is from after Grimes' comments :(

So yeah, not promising at this point :(
Look fine to me. I am no doctor, but would have thought not moving would be worse than a corky. Bet your bottom dollar that he has been copping massages for the past two weeks

Not so much desperate for us to fail, desperate for a classic close match.
You see it a lot when the market has one team as a heavy favorite that the game and the underdogs chances are always beaten up in the media to death.

He flip flops alright. Early this season he suggested that clubs should just use a normal player as their second ruck. 3 weeks later when West Coast beat us he says this is why you need two ruckman.

But not in a presser, one asked the question about 1 game in 20 odd days, Grimes answered and then the next reporter pretty much asks the same question, and then two more after that i think it was, once was enough move on.
