Great game at Hampton yesterday , could've gone either way , Rovers were up a point with 1 and a half minutes left and then Ormond kicked the last 2 goals.
Was a great crowd and fantastic Anzac tribute and lunch . The are the number 1 for lunches
Shades of the 2018 grand final between the two clubs yesterday at Boss James Reserve..

OI v Old Cam Round 2 - Honest Review

TBH we lost it in the 1st quarter whilst kicking with a 1 goal breeze. 2 goals 7 to 1 goal 1. At the end of the 1st quarter OC were down two men on rotations.

OI were applying immense pressure but we’re letting themselves down with very poor execution.

After half time, the pressure in OC returned a solid 6 goals to 3. But again lapses in concentration enabled OC to kick 3 unnecessary goals.

The last quarter was a blur, when the OC ruck didn’t get shorter, and his dominance came to the fore.

Be Hart is a marvel of the comp. He just marked everything and kicked amazingly straight.

Credit to OC who never gave up. And their bigger bodies just didn’t stop.

We have to take the loss on the chin. Lots of players are still getting used to each other.

Training this morning was quite hard so hopefully we take out the loss on the other OC ethos weekend.

Old Camb don’t have huge resources in the 2’s to bring up but their 19’s are very strong so help can come from there.

It was a great day for football.

Even got a compliment for my decision making in the ressies by an opposition parent. Wonders will never cease.

OI like to congratulate Josh Weddle making his debut for Hawthorn this weekend . Josh was a veteran of 2 games in the under 19’s. (So we will definitely claim him).

Josh’s father was a champion footballer with OI through our rise from D Grade all the way through to A Grade.

Go Hoes
