If you said the same thing to me last year I would've agreed. Been down to a few skob training sessions this year and he isn't looking good. Apparently he lost to there ruckman Dylan jones in a 100m sprint lol

Lachlan Nankervis took the best years of my life, and he is worse in bed than he is 15metres out directly in front

DeLa is thereabouts in both. A chance Rooster 24 ?

Will be one of a number of clubs battling for 4th. Some good ins tempered by some significant outs – mainly travelers. Nowhere near the number of big names as SKOBs or OX. Probably a mid table list but have plenty of spirit and well coached.

Have not seen them in action yet but believe they have not really set the world on fire in the 2 practice games. 4-5 goal loss to Blues and win by a similar margin against depleted Collegians. Would expect that this weekend’s squads will be closer to what you might see in Rd 1 so it might give a better indication.

That Leader journo does a great job for the teams that he covers, whether footy or cricket. Gets out heaps of information about them all the time.
Agree! There are a few Leader journos who cover local sport and do it well. I suspect there are some clubs more amenable to publicity than others though.

Where's you praccy Rooster, and who are you playing?

Please..it's time to stop.
You ain't fooling anyone here. Nobody.
Everyone, other than you, likes Scribe.
At a game of footy, you have a winner and a loser. So any coach with a record greater than 50% is a champ. I even rate some who have come in below that 50/50 figure.
You can talk about Tiger etc etc as much as you like, but it's a personal dislike you have. It's not going to make anyone else here think less of him.
It's a VAFA footy site. We talk footy. We all like Scribe. We all, other than yourself, want you to go away.
You've had your fun. This fun hasn't been shared by anyone else bar you.
Hopefully the mods who read this from time to time, ban you permanently.
You cause good posters to leave and bring us nothing.

Don't think Sportsbet has moved since we started posting prices.

Interesting, though i think you will hear the jungle drums beating for at least one of those lower clubs very early on. IMO OMs and OC are way too low and no monty's to even be in the relegation frame, let alone certs as suggested by some. I'd be more worried at Blacks and Collegians

From all reports OC have lost more than they have picked up. Couldnt win a game as the year went on last year. Had no Reserves worth fielding
and you think they are going to hang on in 2016.

Yep they will struggle.
Sloan playing VFL. Reid injured. Retirements. Rowe, Howat, McQueen gone. Picked up nothing big. A lock for bottom 2 IMO.

Going by what the TAB Sportsbet market has framed for the VAFA Premier flag this season, the contenders for the title is Old Xavs, Old Trinity, SKOB and St Bernards, with Old Carey and Old Melburnians going down to Premier B in 2017.

Going to invest a dollar or two on the likely Premiers Jase? If so, on which team?

If it's SKOB, better get on before their heavy hitters shrink the market.:)

Did we just move the shit to a different thread?

I'm more than happy to ban people from this section of the forum from here on in. Play the ball please.

Ok.. As long as it applies to everyone as I would argue some of tbe stuff directed at me isn't playing the ball . Moving forward I will endeavour to stick to footy and not mention scribes constant movement between various clubs or his lack of finals success as a coach . No more .... Footy now!

It'd be directed at everyone, the mods are pretty even handed. (from someone who's been in my share of shitfights)
pretty simple really - don't snipe and generally everyone will be happy.

Crownbet's market looks a fair bit different to sportsbet's......Great value if you think the bernies can go back to back!
