Premier A - 2013

Scotch - Back on their game this weekend after disappointing last week.
Blues - Young and Summers too strong in the middle and with Smith making his debut will cause too many problems for the Blacks.
Bernards - It's really hard to win at the pit, despite the Sharks good form.
Collegians - Will see the OX boys go win-less for the first three rounds in god knows how long.
De La Salle - Serious questions and murmurings starting at the Panthers.

But as I mentioned, 0 from 5 last week, so probably reverse these for the winners.

Scotch, Blacks, Bernies, Collegians and DLS.
5 of the biggest morals ever. It can be nothing but these results.

All set up for a top of the table clash between the two Gold & Navy teams next week at Banksia. Great to see some of the old timers from Beaumaris such as Dougie, Dessie, Cootie and the Axe Man getting amongst it along with the next generation. Years of youth development are now reaping the rewards for what must the strongest non-paying suburban club in Australia.

3 games don't make a season nor dynasty.

Maxxy Boy
Fact 1; Sharks have had three very good wins; one at home against St Bedes Mentone who have the had the wood over us in years gone past, one away against the reigning premier, and one away at the Pit which is always a super hard place to win for any touring side.
Fact 2; Bowy beat Northcote Park in a praccy despite having a payroll around $200k south of the Parkers.
Fact 3; no comments posted by Shark supporters have pumped up our long term chances. We are living in the moment.

Toatally agree Shark Park, our first three wins have been superb!
And it seems that we will be forever bagged on here unless we win the A section flag.
All i can say is that there is plenty of upside at Banksia, and that the vibe at the club at the moment is sensational.
The people that seem to bag us most are the "precious" st bede's crew.
They should be the one's worried about falling on the slippery slope back to B grade.
From what I hear morale is at an all time low at Brindisi.....
Bring on round 4... Go Sharks!

Agree. Well done sharks. Can't believe anyone can pour anything on them other than cheers. It's been a fantastic effort so far, by what is obviously a great club. I know nothing about them, but looking forward to seeing them one day soon. If they stay around for a beer, win or lose, they will rate with me.

anyone watch the game at the snakepit??

was expecting a better performance from the snow dogs

Yeah snowdogs on played about 1.5 good quarters. Sharks ran them off their feet, impresssive. They would of had 2 times more handballs then kicks. run run run

Not True!! It has nothing to do with your football ability the reason you will forever be bagged on here because you are from Beaumaris, Brighton's poor little cousin. The Median house price for Beaumaris is under 1 Million, you may as well live in Frankston......

I'll have to wait until they play in a game in a nice suburb like Toorak, Parkville, Malvern, Camberwell or Albert Park before I see them play, there is no way in hell I'm going to Beaumaris, I might get mugged

Youlik,e didn't they beat Collegians at Home (Albert Park) last week??

Where has the improvement come from at Beaumaris? Obviously they were a good team last year, no denying that, but, they really must have taken some huge steps forward. Have they recruited strongly - or do they have VFL blokes who are getting permits week by week?

No doubt that they have had some natural improvement and a obviously a good preseason, but there must be more to it than that.

Never seen them play before Saturday.
Just took em on face value...
But told a mate when I was watching that if they had that team last year they would of won B grade by the flemington straight.

I'll happily reveal names, to the VAFA Intergrity Officer. Everybody in the know is aware that Ron Nicholson left Beauy because he was disgusted that some club and committee involved 'supporters' were paying players bags of cash, in fact, Mifsud was paid over $20,000 the year he was a playing coach...only a lazy $18,000 over the allowed limit!

Its a big junior footy club, parents talk my boy!
