Uni Blues have announced Matt Smith as their new senior coach.

He played in back-to-back premierships with Heidelberg in the Northern FL and spent several years at Collingwood VFL and also Port Melbourne before that.

He did his knee playing for Uni Blues in round 1 of 2024 and missed the rest of the season.

Interesting NFNL league has already got the 2025 draw out for all 3 divisions.

They usually do come out around that time of year.
If only the VAFA could give us at least the Premier grade fixtures nice and early like that.

Hard to beat the Goulburn Valley league in the 1990s - for a couple of years in a row, they had the next year's fixture in the Grand Final edition of their GV Weekender.
