I’d much rather lads like Harry Hill play in a GF than miss one by one day, hence some SKOB people approaching HQ after the season to get this done.
Not at all. Premier is the only Section this applies to because the GF is one or two days closer to R18 than in other sections. It's that day or so that cost Hill the chance to play.FWIW so one rule for Premier and bad luck to the other grades, ok great
PS: It was virtually a done deal on GF day, according to many who were there. Still, it's no surprise Platinum is adding some mayo to the story.
No big names signed yet bedford, AGM in a few weeks should be an interesting affair.
Realistically do not have a list capable of competing in A grade and will do well to survive relegation. As happens to all ammo clubs have lost some good young talent for $ and arguably the playing group will be no better than the 2024 group. Not ideal when going up a grade. Recruiting is challenging, particularly when you are unlikely to be competing for a flag. However, 50 other VAFA clubs would like to be where we are so grateful to have a chance mix it with the best.
