This kid certainly has some talent. Heard a bit of inside word that the coach doesn't give him a game on personal reasons which isn't good...but explains why he isn't in the 1s because he should be
From what I've seen he could be the next Tayte Pears of the VAFA

Unfortunately for big Nank SKOB has a rock solid policy of zero shocking pills allowed in the Seniors side. Until he wakes up and stops grandstanding his blockhead he'll have to be content kicking sausages in the magoos

Good policy to have. Perhaps a 'No playing in skirts come finals time' policy can be discussed at the their next board meeting.

Very sharp!!! Finals certainities (unless massive injuries) again but reckon Bedes (Flip on the coin win against them and they have A section experience) would still be favourites. Introducing the chances of a do or die prelim. Club is clearly the strongest it has ever been but A section would be nice. Watched a few of the games on the VAFA website. Seem to have a great spread of talent. Hoping for the best!!!

Rovers tried hard but were outgunned by SKOB today. Next week sees the two undefeated teams Old Brighton and St Kevins on the new surface at Brighton Beach, and that will be something to look forward to. Very even competition at this stage of the year.

Yeah they did, but 12.18 at half time could have been 20.10.
One SKOB player had kicked 0 goals 8 pts by half time.

I don't think the twos is an issue for Hampton, in fairness to them that SKOB ressies team has 10 blokes from last years senior prelim final side and 10 from last years Under 19 Premier Grand Final side playing in it.
And isn't the 2's coach loving that, as great a 2's coach he's been, never has he had so much talent

Really? You must have fielded 34 or so then considering you had almot half your twos side from last year, a bloke from St Marys/Salesian and a couple of who didnt play at all last year

So after 4 rounds, what have we learnt so far about each team and what is going to happen heading into the mid-season break?

Rovers are trying hard, but the problem is that they have run into top-line opposition so early in the season. Any one of St Kevins, Old Brighton, St Bedes Mentone Tigers could be the grand final match ups. Can't see Rovers playing finals, but if they finished 6-8th on the ladder, that's a good effort, considering the standard of Premier B football this season.
