Agreed. As was discussed before the game, top-of-the-table clashes are either a) a see-sawing nailbiter or b) one side runs away with it. Today was the latter.

Some of the best footy I have seen CYs play since coming up from C Grade. Seemed a class above Trinity all day

A great game of footy at Dairy Bell yesterday.

De la jumped OG's early and had a 5 goal lead, full credit to the visiting team as they worked hard through the middle periods of the game to square the it up mid way through the 3rd quarter.

De La managed to pull away late in the game and secured a very valuable 4 points.

Only blight on the game were some of the questionable umpiring decisions in crucial moments of the game. The men in green had a stinker yesterday.

Reckon Monash would be pleased to not get beaten by 100 points and fought the game out well. But that wind was a nightmare.

Huge win for De La yesterday at Beaumaris, from all reports it's the best game the club has played for a number of years. While the club has a young list and will not contend this year a win like that is great for a young group.

Yep tough conditions at the Frearson. Bernards far too good for the battling home side. Bernards would have to fall over big time not to go straight back to A grade. Some signs they are quite happy with themselves but so what I guess!! Some polished goal umpiring on display

De La played well in a tough contest in shocking wind conditions at Oak St and Beaumaris had a shot at goal with just minutes to go to hit the front but missed so great win in the end to them to stay in 4th spot
