Not at all. But this board hasn’t been short of whipping boys of late. It’s not like they are in short supply!

Thats what happens with teams that dont mke finals for 5 years and spend three of those years in the bottom 5..

Plenty of whipping boys.

What happens if Murphy, McHenry and Jones are all out of the rd 1 side. Who becomes the whipping boy?
Honestly?.... Smith.

If he continues to bomb long when it's clear we are trying to lower eyes and hit up more targets so we can more accurately hit our elite forwards on the chest

They never are. It's just how good the whipping boys are that changes.

On 7NEWS ROB says that he doesn’t need any help in the ruck and that his aerobic ability is his greatest strength.. hmmm

Any chance he could learn to tap the ball to his team mates...

Even when he has a clear hit out, he usually hits it blindly to space.

What is Doc Clarke telling him, as he was a decent tap ruckman.

Basically if ROB can't give us our fair share of taps to advantage nor hold his marks, we are better off going for more mobile options that are better around the ground.

You can understand Doc teaching ROB how to fumble a mark, but mystery why he can't sort out his tap work to advantage.

Has ROB had his eyes tested because even when he has a clear tap, he usually puts it's into space rather than hitting it to one of our midfielders.

Obviously feeling the pressure, he knows hes not guaranteed selection when hes playing the way he is.
If he gets back to playing like he did when he signed a long term deal, he won't feel pressure.... but if he keeps up his more recent form, he should feel the pressure.

Basically he has been worse since becoming part of our leadership group & one our higher paid players... like he got comfortable.

I try to work out if it’s him or the mids are not getting to the hit zone, or just no communication.
I remember working with Rehny and he had basically 3 hit zones he divided the circle into a Y

Given this has been an issue for a while, need to question wtf are Doc & ROB planning with the midfield group...
