Training Preseason 2024

I personally prefer to not need to head out to a party after the game with spilled beer soaking me, so afternoon and Sunday games are better on a balance in my opinion - but I prefer the atmosphere at night games, aside from the aforementioned spilling of beer on me as people walk in front for the fourth time that quarter with another four beers.
That’s why we go to the Sports Lounge now…
Never use our seats, stand out the front of the bar at the staino benches and don’t bother people squeezing past spilling beer on them.
Win - win

I like the Sunday arvo games because they're on at a reasonable hour and I can lounge around in bed watching it and if we suck it doesn't ruin my entire weekend. So yes they should absolutely fixture the games around some random dickhead living abroad.

I think there's also a benefit to getting as many games as possible at the timeslot that finals are regularly played at.
I see that you are a glass half full individual
I am too, usually, but I have been Freo since before inception & my hope has been crushed.
Now, I'm like one of those sad people who stays with an abuser, because they love them, no matter what

I'm sure I'll get to that stage one day.

Speaking to one of the higher people from the club at yesterdays AFLW game, he told me that Noddy is really working hard on his pre, pre season.

He is very impressed by what Noddy is doing.
It was an interesting conversation.

Did the person think Nod's injury was the main thing holding him back last season

Probably petrified he'll be the only O'Driscoll not getting a game next yr. Sis seems the type that would let him know about it too

Can’t wait to read which fringe players are “training the house down” this off season.
Call me a cynic but I’m around long enough now not to get carried away with pre season training reports.
It will be fun for everyone on here to read how certain players are tracking but as Mike Tyson once famously said - everybody’s got a plan until they get punched in the mouth.

We will literally have zero clue how good our pre-season is until several games into season 2024.

Not sure if it’s been mentioned anywhere .
Fremantle are in Albany for the Community Training Camp the 16-18th Nov.
Sports night with a Q and A panel on Thursday evening the 16th and a training session on Saturday morning 9-12 if anyone is down that way and interested.
I'll be down that way a solid week into camping - i'll be the guy looking like a hobo and surrounded by a cloud of flies

Saw pictures of Corbett overseas or on holidays somewhere. I remember the article said that he was having hip surgery at the end of November. I wondered why it wasn’t start of November but him being away would explain why.

I’m looking forward to best 22 predictions of first year draftees and fringe players who were delisted by other clubs.
