Yes. Fall in line puny human!
On Treacy though, I'm full in on his progress so far. Could see the signs in his first year that he was something special, especially with the way he follows through with intent.
I know he hasn't produced in the way that some wish but I personally see him as one of the most influential key forwards, fully matured. Not talking an 80 a year type but 50 to 60 with desire to pressure and assist in the f50 more than the avg lunk imo.
His hands, yeah, I think they just need time to wear in.

I can't help but feel like we're in for a big year from Treacy, seems like he's destined for a big haul.
I feel like Serong has always had pretty stocky legs. Like Neale. His calves are flipping huge.View attachment 1868969
My app isn’t showing the gallery properly at the moment but found this picture interesting. The gait pattern position doesn’t favour Ras much but you can see the difference in leg muscle mass for Serong vs Ras. Ras has put on some size but still quite a bit of work to go to get his legs, hips and core muscle mass and strength increased.
Serong does not skip leg day.
I saw serong at the shops the other day and I was surprised how big his legs are! Dude has tree trunks for legs!View attachment 1868969

There is no doubt that we are a quiet team with very little mongrel, I hope Tracey brings it even more this year because we sure as hell need it from more players.Yes. Fall in line puny human!

Thanks for the heads upYoung, Emmett and Worner having a big preseason at the Left Bank if any single ladies want to chat to them
I'm not to sure which players have a gf though. Only one way to find outThanks for the heads up
Young in the midfield seems genuinely exciting. There was a bit of talk about him becoming a Jordan Dawson type and it seems to be bearing fruitTraining notes
It's not a joke, they never went to the moon.Don't even joke about this s**t.

It's a great avatar. More of this please Treacy, we know you can
I've been batling chronic fatigue this year so Ive had time to watch a few replays of games unlike most years. One thing I noticed watching Treacy when watching the replays was how many nearly games he had. So how many games he had where he was often close to having a signoficant impact for a young key forward. He does have all the attributes physically. He could be one who excels after a breakout game which gives him that extra bit of confidence. Im hopeful him and Switta will kick significantly more goals this season than they did last season. Switta needs more of an attacking approach with Shultz gone as Shultz obviously kicked goals and also defended well, where's Switta has focussed more on defensive pressure.I can't help but feel like we're in for a big year from Treacy, seems like he's destined for a big haul.

That's not gonna stop me from using it every time we loseWE’RE SICK OF THE YOUTH TAG, SAYS LONGMUIR
Fremantle are not going to make youth an excuse for lacklustre performances in 2024, as Justin Longmuir targets more defensive work to turn their fortunes around. Fresh off a surprise fifth place in 2022, it appeared the only way was up for the Dockers last season entering the year as the fifth-youngest side in the competition.
Instead, Fremantle took a backward step as the side struggled to deal with the internal and external expectations put upon them.
As they look to go back to being contenders again in 2024, the Dockers don’t want to hear about how young their side is anymore.
“We all acknowledge last year didn’t go the way we wanted it to do,” coach Justin Longmuir told the annual members’ meeting this week.
“Everyone is talking about how young we are, I don’t really care how young we are — that is no excuse for our performance. Our young key forwards certainly (aren’t) using their age to hide behind.
“As a football club and a team, we want to lean into that youth and bring in enthusiasm and energy and lean into the positives of a young side and use that energy to drive forward.”
Despite their overall disappointing year, the Dockers did finish strongly, winning three of their last five games, with Longmuir, right, wanting to shift the focus away from ball movement next year.
“We didn’t execute well enough,” he said.
“But largely the way we played in the last six weeks is how we want to play our footy. I don’t think we focused on the right things at times last year and that’s a reflection on me. I want us to be hard around the contest and strong defensively.
“Those are things we can control in tough moments.
“At times we focused too much on our ball movement which we can’t control and we were worse for it.”
Captain Alex Pearce backed up his coach’s sentiment as he remains confident in leading the group next year.
“There is a lot of us who are sick of hearing about being young as a reason why we perhaps didn’t perform in the season just gone,” Pearce said.
“When we were at our best those are the attributes we brought, we’ve played together enough now that we know our strengths. We want to make youth the reason we can win the premiership this year because we are fast and exciting, energetic and we play with no fear.”
He actually was able to step up in a few crucial momemts last year too (vs Sydney at the SCG, Melbourne at the MCG)I've been batling chronic fatigue this year so Ive had time to watch a few replays of games unlike most years. Did you lose a bet? You’re right, some players no matter their level or standard at any club are vocal & help bring enthusiasm & drive standards. It’s who that person naturally is, where some of the very best are quiet & let their actions do the talking.
Acres when he first arrived was very vocal & buoyant around the group & watching the Weagles train recently they were a very quiet group but Jake Waterman was particularly vocal & upbeat. The coaches were the main voices at their sessions, leading the players & encouraging them to bring the enthusiasm vocally.
