I'm struggling to see any structure and game plan here. It's like they have no idea where to run or position themselves for the next play.
We had this issue the year we won the flag too. Not saying it’ll change but maybe they’re not playing with any structures intentionally in this game

I'm pretty sure Freo have flogged us in the preseason every year since their inception.
Exactly, hasn't been too bad for us. Would have been great if Ginbey could have played the whole game. Also apart from Maric and Rawlinson our younger players could have shown a little bit more. Also would have like to have seen a better performance from Yeo. But if we get a highlight or two from Harley or Chesser the hit out could be somewhat successful.

Rawlingson our new Zac Langdon

Luke Edwards is barely a WAFL player. He's a poor man's Tom Cole

So the good news it’s just the pre season guys…

The bad news is we have only kicked 3 goals in 3 quarters on our home training ground..

But it’s just pre season

Amiright?

Same issues as last year. Lose ground ball and can’t transition, essentially uncompetitive.

The real kicker are the basic unforced errors leaving D50 that results in instant goals to the opposition. If you want to be a half decent side, you just cant do it. We had about 4 that quarter alone.

It’s pre season, so who cares … BUT … there was a passage in the first quarter where Freo centred the ball into the middle of the ground and Reid was the closest player and if he’d just been playing footy would have got the turnover and away we go but instead he wasn’t watching the ball and was sprinting back to shadow his man who was running forward.

That’s Simmo. All day every day. Coach out flare and offence and focus on reactive defending.

We’ve played without dare and dash all game.

It’s pre season, it doesn’t matter. But the coaching and system remain a concern.
