Let's renew Butler's contract too while we are at it.

TBH Butler would add more to the midfield than Priddis even though I think he is close to his use by date. This just reminds me so much of a few years ago when A Selwood kept getting selected despite the fact he obviously was incapable of keeping up with the game (along with a few others). I remember players running past a chasing Selwood so they could shepherd their team mate. A similar thing happened last week when Priddis had to chase a loose ball and was easily beaten to it by a suns player who was further away. Said Suns player then just ran away from him. You could see Priddis's face as he was trying to run but just simply couldn't get any pace at all. What a disgrace!

1) Glad you're happy with the club trolling this board, rather than playing competitive (let alone victorious) games of football.
2) Paying a bloke to play at East Perth (who is finished/cooked) still means that a younger kid is cut to make way for him. It's an absolute waste of a list spot, and is poor list management.

The issue I have is the club doesn't see him as depth. Or doesn't seem to. His form in the middle has dropped significantly and he's useless in the other roles they are throwing him into. Just holding us back now.

I'm annoyed by the timing of this really. Why do it at a time when Priddis is playing his worst footy, especially considering he could easily decline more rapidly between now and the end of the season?

By signing him this eagerly and this early, the club wouldn't have ruled out signing him again for 2019 if nothing changes by this time next year! What a time to be alive!

Should do what they do with Butler every year with this case, due diligence, see how he is traveling. With this announcement it doesn't look great for Lecras/Butler?
