cause Souths beat them at Rock, Paper, Scissors
MMM I wonder.
Just look at the facilities the players have at Success, Cockburn, compared to what they would have had at Fremantle oval.
If people are still looking for facilities like the WAFL clubs have, then they will be wating for a long time..
The days of clubs having actual club hoses where you can but a beer, have a meal etc are things of the past. After game functions are from by gone days,
Just a quesation, have you been down to see the facitlies that Freo have now?

In terms of funding for the current Fremantle Oval redevelopment plans, there is agreement from all stakeholders on the project now (City of Fremantle, FFC, SFFC and WAFC).

A number of the elements of the master plan, including the housing element and space for a child care (Fremantle is on a Federal list for having insufficient child care places) have been included as these two elements alone, combined with female sport participation, are three key boxes to tick to secure the federal funding, and potentially further funding from the state.

Fremantle FC have visited parliament in Canberra on numerous occasions to pitch for funding, as have the City of Fremantle - including as recently as a couple of months ago.

Expect there to be considerable funding from government for the project - and further from sales of the housing component that will be used to fund more of the works too.

Fed MP Josh Wilson will also face some strong competition from Greens and Independents to retain the seat - funding to this will be a nice sweetener too.

Great post.
