We traded for one and I believe Thomson will be a great get. Will play just about 22 games.

What difference is it taking Hislop over an un-tried kid we will rookie? Tell me?

I am a bit iffy with Cousins, but I will still support us and Ben.

You the guru of list management and coaching.....who is terry wallace anyway, what does he know about what the team needs, who is this guy kevin sheedy......what does he know about footy

RFC should have listened to beaver and continued on an endless five year plan by continuing to draft 18 yo.

The list y any standard is young. all sides have and need experienced players.

KJ will probably retire at the end of the season, NB may as well, only Richo and symonds will remain and richo for how long?

and none of those players can be called elite midfielders.

it will put pressure on the fringe players, connors, edwards, tambling to perform.....that can only be a good thing.

Was gourdis or any other 18 yo going to put pressure on them to perform?

was there any pressure on petrified until this season?

Rookie Draft
Nahas #8 - Small foward who collects alot of possesions, possibly to replace Brown.
Gourdis #24 - Tall Foward, Possible Richardson replacement along with Hughs.
Andrew Browne #39 - At 205 cm, 105kg this guy is a monster ruckmen.
Alroy Gilligan #53 - A small forward with pace and good agility, Gilligan has good goal sense and is solid overhead

Good to see we are looking to the future abit, Rance can take Bowdens spot, Hislop or Thomspon to take Johnsons, Vickery to take Simmonds along with Browne.
Bit dissapointed we overlooked Klemke though.

Despite being a Carlton supporter, i am absolutely thrilled Richmond gave Cousins a chance to redeem himself and not only get his career back on track, but also his life. I strongly believe that everyone deserves a second chance and that no human being is perfect in life and that we all make mistakes.

I never thought i'd be so happy for another club, but i feel so ecstatic as when i heard Juddy was coming to Carlton.

I suppose you could say that it reveals i have a soft spot for Richmond. lol

Congratulations to Richmond; fantastic for football! I can't wait for the Cousins vs Judd duel come Round 1 next season.

Firstly, very good question who is Terry Wallace? I thought he was the bloke with a shite record that has his job on the line now and needs a short term boost. Kevin Sheedy? The guy that left essendon in its current state. They are almost as much as a joke as our club.

What do you mean continue to draft 18 yr olds over 5 years? Since when did the club ever do this over sustained period of time?

Yeah 5 players over 30 isn't enough experience we need to add another

Competition or taking AFL experience away from them.

There are plenty of players to provide competition.
