This thread is a joke due to the inclusion of Austin Wonaeamirri - He's not "quick" by any standards.

He's a smart player, and he certainly takes off in the right direction with a quick step, but his top speed is nothing special - He was run down by Tarkyn Lockyer the other week.

He's not exceptionally quick just because he's Aboriginal.

Is he even Aboriginal?
Isn't he Tiwi Islander?
Or are they the same thing and am I just an ignoramus

Heh - I didn't know that. He is a Tiwi Islander, and yes, that is considered to be different from Aboriginal, yet still under the category of Indigenous (hence the recent proliferation of the latter term).

But regardless of his background, he's not quick.

Its more of a joke that Andrew Lovett isn't an option - I can't think of any one who can strike the ball as sweetly as he can at full pace

Foley isn't that quick. He just has Judd-esk afterburner's in which he can accelerated really fast to get out of pack. His top speed wouldn't be that high.

I'd say Wojack. However, Matt White from which has incredible pace. Would burn off 99% of the comp

Totally agree.

Even though I'm a Melbourne supporter, I really don't think Aussie is that quick.

So many posters dont undertsand the difference between being Quick or being Fast

Our game advantages the player being Quick rather than Fast

Those first 5 - 10 metres is what counts

The top priority is still getting the Ball

For example Mathew Richardson is FAST but not QUICK

Both Davey,s are the opposite
Couldn't agree more. I voted Foley but would have liked to see Harris in there too. Harris is also quick over 5-10.

There isn't a more dangerous player in the game than Wojak.
When he hits the after burners no one can grab him. He breaks more lines than anyone.
