Hopefully he proves me wrong (it wouldn't be the first time
) I just have low expectationsAvg Stats get skewed when players like Narkle play sub so often. Averages 15 disposals a game when actually on the park and not with a vest.
Out of 33 games that he wasn’t a sub (that I can work out) he reached double figure disposals in 31 of them, however 20 plus in only six. 16 of those were in the one season 2021.

Stats are stats. He had a bit of the Aaron Youngs in that he's been sub so often. He's also not going to be averaging huge disposals a game when he was always behind AA Ablett, AA Dangerfield, AA Selwood, AA Guthrie, AA squad Menegola as well as probably the two best non-AA midfielders of the current era in Duncan and Smith. When you are 8th/9th banana in the midfield you just have to do what you can do when you get a go.
It is what it is. He's a mid season draft pick. I'm not sure anyone is expecting him to come in and become an All Australian. But if he can come in, do a role, showcase his talent, that's good enough.

On one hand stoked for him as he has worked very hard in our VFL unit to push his case.
On the other hand sad because he was doing some absolute class things with our young indigenous kids at both levels.
Overall happy for him. One of the best humans going round.
