Great interview Hirdy, I ******* love that guy!! :thumbsu:

I reckon!

I find that watching Hirdy post-match has a very calming effect on me.

I was distraught after attending the Collingwood loss (though I expected it), yet found myself watching Hird's presser on repeat once home and it somehow made me feel good again.

The man's stoic attitude throughout this saga is what has impressed me the most this year!

He's 15 years old and wet behind the ears... Give him a couple of years. Big players take longer

Yes, and as such should be kept forward. Shouldn't ruck yet

So ****ing happy right now.

The last few weeks I've just felt empty after the games. Tonight I've woken up the parents and probably neighbourhood with my scream of delight when Zaka kicked that goal.

My dogs are still hiding under the bed.

WE JUST MADE CARLTON THE FIRST ILLEGITIMATE FINALISTS IN HISTORY.

AND THAT'S IF THEY MANAGE TO FINISH 9th!!!

Hahahaha, fekkn baby blues

Hope they get their arses handed to them on a plate.

Hurley and Crameri are such a dangerous unit together. They were hobbling along and still troubled the hell out of the defence.

Thought Hurley was great tonight.

Jobe what can you say.

i was livid with Goddard a few times but his game overall was ok.

Hocking was good.

Hooker good as well.

Melksham - hard as a cats head.

Pears butchered everything in the first half but regained some composure in the second.

Joey D need to realise its the big league and you can't be too lackadaisical.

Hirdys presser was good, but Micks would be top 10 best ever,, he was red faced and angry for the whole game, and losing by a goal with the score they kicked is what generally pisses him off the most!

Also seeing the emotions of players towards Yarran when he kicked his couple of goals I reckon he's gone at the end of the year, we should look at him if TRB think they can beat the laziness out of him. Seriously looks like he's going to tear us apart every time he plays us.

If you ever want a performance that embodies suaviter in modo, fortiter in re, that was it. Maybe without much suaviter, but eh, what can you do?

Managed to annoy several Carlton fans. Job well done by myself, too.

Myers post-game reaction .gif pls.

wut. That was the only time Yarran has done anything against us. Added to the fact that he's the most overrated player in the league I say **** no

Brilliant!!

Seeing we have a Lennon song it the title of the ASADA thread lets bring the boy into this one too:

Something still needs to be done about that forward line if we are to be taken seriously in September.... but who knows, that might be Joe in 2014. Crameri just hasn't shown that he can keep fit for 22 rounds and either has Hurley which does not help the assessment but currently, this is our biggest Achilles heel.

On other notes, I know Pears one-on-one work is not where it should be but he is proving to me that he can be a damaging attacking defender. He's looking lean and I'd like him developed as a half back flanker - he just doesn't have it as an out and out defender but he can be an attacking weapon.

I was one very critical of Hardingham last year but the boy just has something, definitely worth persisting with.
