Keith reckons 90% did and then there up to 30k
11 game members .... that’s what I heard, but I could be wrong ...

Do ppl think it matters if we have pledged it all but are paying in instalments (and still have a couple instalments to go)? Ie will I still be eligible ?

I was just saying to Macca I donated my 2k Corp ticket this year, I’d be disappointed if I’m resold another Corp ticket opportunity and not in the main draw as a member

It’s the right way to go, would you go if only you got a ticket and the rest of your family didn’t ?
At least this way, there won’t be no shows for that reason.
Yes!
I’d also understand that people outside my family would like to go and for all of us to go and another to miss out would be a little selfish.
Anyway, I‘m not getting one regardless, just hope those that do go see a resounding victory and have an awesome time!

Fair enough, I recon there’d be heaps that wouldn’t so I’ve got no issue with this approach.

Id hate to see people get a ticket and decide not to go for this reason.

Dear Garibaldi Red,

As you may be aware, today the South Australian Government announced that 2000 club members will be able to attend our Round 2 game v Adelaide this Saturday night.

We have been allocated 1475 tickets for our members.

We’d all been imagining this game, with 50,000 of the Port Adelaide family packed into Adelaide Oval to launch our 150th season, but with COVID-19, that dream vanished. Of course, we wish you could all be there on Saturday night cheering on the team so the task in determining how to allocate the limited number of tickets is a difficult one.

As a member who has pledged 100% of your membership to the club in 2020, we are pleased to offer you the opportunity to enter a ballot for exclusive access to these limited tickets.

As part of the ballot registration process, you also have the option to register other eligible members who you wish to be seated near. Please make sure you have their Account ID and full name in order to register them via the form below.

Your Account ID is .......

Please only enter the ballot if you can definitely attend the game. As a courtesy to the thousands of members who would love that opportunity, we ask that you please submit your entry in the ballot if you are 100% sure you will be attending on the night.

Entries into the ballot strictly close at 5pm Wednesday 10 June.

We understand this is a short time frame, but we are trying to work through a fair and easy process for our members, and also provide the time needed to allocate and then issue the tickets.

Good luck in the ballot, and regardless of whether you’re one of the lucky few to be at Adelaide Oval on Saturday night, we know you’ll be backing the boys wherever you are.

Thank you again for your wonderful support of the Club in 2020.

All my family is eligible but I would give it to my father has been a port supporter and member forever and the reason my kids and I are🤞.
Looks like the club doing the best they can but it should of been more in or not at all I reckon bit of a joke really.

Did u get a any sort of confirmation - I go to finalise hit submit and it takes me back to the page you start at

Nope but after I hit submit, but the message above the submit button said I had successfully completed the info forms.

There’s been some confusion in some of the group chats I am in.

If putting in for a group, say for 3 people, if only one gets selected then is that person penalised for being in with two unsuccessful balloters? Surely not. I have been reading it as if less than the entire group is selected then the successful few can still go

The ability for us (my group chat friends) to overthink this is causing me worry.

I’ll be putting in for the ballot tomorrow morning once I’ve got confirmation from my usual group of match day friends, but I’m not going to be holding my breath for success, though I’m really banking on some good ticket karma having attended virtually every game home and away in the last few years of Hinkleyball

This is great to hear. I understand some people in real financial trouble might need their money, but anyone that took it back just cause they weren't getting their moneys worth isnt much of a member. So hearing a high percentage stayed on is very encouraging. I never even contemplated getting my money back. Clubs going to need every cent to get through.

Me and my wife have tickets. I registered in her name for her and me, and in my name I did the reverse.

If just one of us wins, then we get in. If both wins, we would accept 2 tickets and decline the others.

I can't see how thered be any problem with that.

This was pretty much the exact debate

Some thought that it was each person registers for themselves, adding in each person from the group (per your example)

Others thought it was one person registers for the entire group and that’s it.

Abstaining from the ballot because my Crows supporting GF and I want to watch together (she's not a Crows member so presumably can't access their allocation). If I could get us both in, we'd be there. If it wasn't a Showdown, I'd enter.
