It was a Bulldogs thing. I noticed a lot of arm/wrist grab tackles that day. I think they're coached to tackle that way. Maybe not with the sling but I think the holding the wrist part is there.

Geelong and The Bulldogs are the two biggest ducking/diving/flopping teams I can ever remember.
Just infuriating to watch.
Probably more like no one will be a dribbling mess in their 50s (cough...lawsuit) because their shoulder got popped out 30 years earlier. I get your point though.It's way worse and more intentional than a tackle to the hips that wraps the arms up with it and the mrp argue 'no duty of care to the players head'.
I guess other body parts don't matter.
