Think it's already been said but Martin definitely needs to stay back. He is so incredibly talented but works hard too. Goes back there after not playing there for a year or more and already looks like our best half back/spare. Can mark overhead beautifully, makes amazing decisions every time, tackles hard, kicks great off both feet and is just pure class.

Stands out like a sore thumb in our team because while almost the entire team is butchering the ball he just makes the right decision every time. Also has a knack of pulling off risky kicks with precision and getting effective handballs away while being tackled.

Given the fact that our midfield isn't in the top 10 in the comp he will see a lot more of the ball down there too.

Agree with everything you say - but he's good at the other end as well . Who kicks our goals -other than Lynch- he's a big part of that.
We need more specialist forwards..

He's awesome everywhere. I'd love him to play full time mid but I'd hate for him to get hurt. Enjoying his durability these past two years.

I wonder if you will get the “we have the Suns one and only fan” sledge.
I'm sure someone will pull that line out, although crows supporters are generally not too rough on us. Possibly as they don't see us as a threat. Once we get a win on them, I'm sure they'll turn. Going to Adelaide oval against port. Totally different vibe. Many times I've felt lucky to get out alive.

IMO Dew needs to send a message to Hall and pick Heron to replace Darcy. Heron likes to tackle and play as a defensively minded small forward whereas Hall doesn't. I think Heron is quicker than Aaron also.

Wright and Ah Chee are goal kickers Can't wait to see them back in.
Outside the Carlton game Lynch has kicked 6 goals in 4 games.

You guys are doing really well on the road and you should all be very proud, but I legitimately would like to know how the hell are Hall and Barlow playing 2's?

Thought Hall was one of your guns and Barlow is just a footy magnet.
Hall has never been well liked by Suns fans. Selfish player that a lot will probably be happy to see depart this year.

Barlow is a mystery.

Hall has found lacking in the areas Dew demands effort, i.e. pressure and tackling. Unfortunately our team isn't good enough to carry a player like that, so he has found himself on the outer.

Barlow is anyone's guess. We all think he should be in. But it is hard to drop anyone from a midfield that won the past week. With 1 forced change this week and Barlow was the non playing emergency for us last week, it could be the week he finally comes in.

Need to stop the turnovers this game for a chance. The North, Carlton & Brisbane games didn't hurt too us as they all turned it over just as much, but Freo and WCE punished us.
We have 13 players in the top 85 for turnovers this year. In saying that Adelaide have 3 players in the top 5 who turn it over. We need to be manic with the pressure and tackling and turn it into a scrap.

Interesting to see who has been named in the Emergency list. Rischa was dropped, but likely to travel with the team. Leslie would have my preference against Adelaide, but Spencer is the form player in the NEAFL and makes sense. Crossley named again and Hall too. Seems to be Dew’s way of telling players how close they are to selection.

I think of the Sydney Ugly Ducks as being the Chardonnay team.
I don’t really know much about the Adelaide scene.
Are the Crows the bourgeoisie team and Port Adelaide the Working Class team are they????

Like a lot of stereotypes there might be a little bit of truth in that.
They call us the chardonnay set (as if that is a put down!) and we say the local crime rate drops when poort matches are on (but can suddenly spike after they lose).
