Bloody happy with the IN. Look a bit short at the back with Weller , Harbrow and Martin . Hopefully Weller will play wing or forward with spencer at the back .
Day can go back and I reckon there's worse option than Jack or Sexxy hitting up from FF
They'll have to cover the shadow Tom Lynch with someone

I think i am settle with Martin playing the looseman at HB , the kid read the play well and very compose compare to Weller . spencer will be ok as the third Tall .

Martin can play loose in the forward line and hit the scoreboard to0o.

How I wish there is two Jack Martin instead of Weller and Jack Martin .
People used to be down on Jack Martin, who cost the same as Lachie Weller, pick 2 Trade, but took many years to develop. You’re gonna have to give Weller a lot more time to fit into the team. He’s named at HBF, but with Spencer likely to come into the back line to cover the 3rd tall and Holman potentially set for a tagging role, Weller could move up the wing or the forward flank then his value to the team as a runner in space and his ability to hit targets by foot could mean we see the player we thought we were getting.

Last time we played the Crows we had Leslie on Tex and KK on Lynch. They were our only talls. :/

Gibbs is my main concern. He always kills us. Not sure if Touk can go with him.
I like Holman for Gibbs. Ex-team mates at the opposite ends of the Blues hierarchy, similar size with advantage to Nick. If not, then perhaps Lonergan? The matchup I like is Young and Seedsman, who was named with Touk and Witts in the afl.com.au team of the week - similar age and experience, so should be a good battle.

For once, the Suns look to have the opposition covered for height and may even have some matchup worries for the opposition. A couple of mismatches are to be expected, but the Crows have a glaring one with Doedee giving away 11cm to Lynch. Perhaps Talia plays on Lynch, but then who can mark Day? You'd imagine the plan is to double team Lynch, sit a tall on Day and scramble their defence to keep our small guys out. I don't really think we'll keep the named forward 6, but I like the potential pressure the big fellas can bring.

I actually like the Suns here for an upset. Sydney went down there and pushed them and our gameplan is somewhat similar to Sydney's. The Crows have been injury ravaged and although they are still highly competitive, they can be outmatched.

Talia has the better of Lynch in their duels. How we get the ball to him doesn't help that either.

Otten will take Day I imagine.
Very good point about delivery. Jason Dunstall wouldn't have been half the full forward he was without the kind of pinpoint delivery and honouring of his leads. Lynch needs to go to the next level and start demanding the ball on long leads, even if it takes him out of scoring range. When he gets early marks and goals, the teams starts to find new ways to get it to him and the small forwards come into the game.

Dunstall was the smartest FF I have ever seen, he didn’t have a physical attributes of a Carey, Lockett, Ablett etc but his ability to out think his opponents was brilliant and once he had it his kicking ability was second to none.

Also Dunstall played before zone defence, flooding and triple teaming. He was almost always one out with no one else anywhere near his contest. He would be lucky to kick 50 goals a year now.

I hope you are right , the last time you mention Upset did not turn out well in WA for GC.

Given the amount of media given to the hard deck at Optus, I think it is fair to say our side was carrying undisclosed injuries that mounted after the first game. When you get 8 goals out of Lynch, then he does his ankle and limps through your next 2 and a half games, the side's chances diminish. West Coast and Freo have had their own issues with injury from the hard surface, but we clearly did not play well on it. Etihad in Round 2 didn't get any criticism, but it is notorious for soft tissue injuries and it isn't coincidence that teams who play more games there than the MCG come lower on the ladder. Not an excuse, but the grounds our lads have played on in 2018 have been sub-par, from pre-season and round 1 mudbaths to the organic carpet to back to back grassy carparks.
Adelaide Oval is the most beautiful ground in the country and I have never heard a bad word spoken about it and the Gabba is not far behind. I wouldn't have thought that the Suns would have any lingering injuries from Sunday apart from being sore for a few days. Now that 5 games have been played, this Adelaide trip won't seem daunting at all and I reckon the boys will quietly fancy their chances with the Outs the Crows have and the match-ups that favour the Suns.
