I spose the fact that I spent a lot of time on my uncles farm as a kid, helping him with killing and preparing animals for sale and also butchering them to eat kind of made me understand what we eat.
I truly believe that in order to eat meat, someone needs to understand where it comes from.
The process was pretty humane tbf, and all his livestock were free to roam the 100 acres he had.
Far better than the factory farming stuff people get from the supermarket.
