He’s a cartoon character. That country is hilarious. The bloke currently in office isn’t mentally fit for the job, and the one coming in is most likely a narcissist making him mentally unfit for the job.
Biden is probably more mentally fit than Trump.

Trump was an incompetent loon last time and he is nearly a decade older and owned by campaigners. Now he's coming in with the idea there are no limits to what happens.

Which is the epitome of America really.

Its always been more about extremes than about freedom.

Why are you not pissing yourself laughing at this?

Because I live in the real-world, where America is the only super-power left and essentially controls the fate of billions of people outside of their borders.

Maybe. I’m more interested in his foreign policy regarding the proxy war they’re fighting, hopefully we see an end to the war in Ukraine.

I’m less optimistic about stopping Israel from their genocide of Palestinians, and their expansion into Syria.

Also it looks like they’re (America) gearing up to attack Yemen.

I don’t fall his “for the working class people” bullshit for obvious reasons, so I don’t think America will see much change on their own soil.

Don't forget Jordan. Fatal being friends with America.

First things first, it's not a "proxy war" to the Ukrainians fighting for their own freedom and independence.

Secondly...

Early reports (which i'm not putting much stock in) seem to suggest Trump will continue supporting Ukraine.

Both are true,

Ukraine is rightfully fighting for their freedom,

And the US is engaged in a proxy war against Russia

You don’t consider China a super power?

No, not in the traditional definition of the concept.

A 'super power' has unquestionable global influence (especially culturally), and a near worldwide ability to project force and strength. It should also be regionally dominant across culture, especially.

China is not a culturally dominant force.
China, although admittedly with a very strong military, is largely contained within it's own immediate borders and region (China doesn't have overseas military bases, for example. With one exception in Djibouti which is primarily focused on naval trade lanes).

China is huge and important, don't get me wrong.

But "super power" has specific meaning, and China isn't there... yet.

Sure, both are true.

But both are not equally true.

It would be more accurate to say that the primary truth is that Ukraine is fighting for their freedom, and the secondary reality is that it's a convenient proxy war.

Fair enough

FDR implemented a top marginal tax rate of 79%. that’s a start.

Americans are less informed than the rest of the industrialised world. They’re more prone to voting emotionally. That’s what MAGA is. Angry racists and bigots being enabled to express it. Behind the scenes it’s billionaires knowing they can use it to increase their wealth. They’ll just have to thrown some racist or anti trans red meat to placate the idiots.

Howard was good at this. Abbott wasn’t smart enough. Dutton is trying it and has gina at his back. Thankfully neither has an ounce of charisma.

Is this whole post about FDR or just the first line?

Jill Biden you mean. Joe has been gone for a long time.

Trump is owned by people who make money from wars. You can bet some of those people's investments include the profit from selling weapons to Ukraine.

Speaking of anti-semitism, there was a weird Nazi protest tonight at parliament with a lot of mixed messaging...

The guy with the glasses and hat getting his mic fixed by the person in the white shirt is on record as advocating for marriage with underage girls. And he's one of their leaders.

So not only a neo nazi, but a neo nazi pedophile.

They aren't sending their best...

No, it isn't. But they're being bled to bleed Russia.

It doesn't cost US/UK anything, as some of their politicians have admitted.

Secondly...

Early reports (which i'm not putting much stock in) seem to suggest Trump will continue supporting Ukraine.

Chad:

Trump will stop supporting Ukraine and let Russia win the war.

Also Chad:

Trump is owned by people who make billions selling weapons to Ukraine.

Maybe Q was right. Maybe the twist at the end of the movie is the people that publicised Q's stuff (ie Trump and some ex US Psychological Operations Officers ... lol) were they ones he was targeting. They just got hold of the narrative, killed the only important witness and changed the names and dates.

I mean, I straight up acknowledged in my post that you quoted that I don't put much stock in those reports, but... sure okay?
