(tho either is possible, I don't know which it is and neither do you)
...
You started the scorn in this instance and you did it from a position of ignorance.

Which is it, ferball?

1) Either scenario is possible, and expressing certainty about it is wrong

or

2) It's definitely a Wuhan lab leak and a "man-made" virus and suggesting otherwise is ignorance?

I'm just curious, because Val expressed the exact same amount of 'certainty' as me, but you only called me out on it.

I can't wait to see you attempt to justify your blatant bias and hypocrisy this time :D

Conservatives sing about Israel’s genocide?

LOL are you so deep in the rabbit-hole that you've forgotten that far-right supremacists hate Jews?

Hell, I'm pretty certain you have previously remarked in these thread about how the racists have been emboldened to attack Israel under the cover of the genocide...

She’s singing about every one being divided basically from scrolling on social media

Getting on this bandwagon will help things, no doubt.

What bandwagon?

Lab leak, balenciaga. She’s smart. She knows there is a market opportunity. She’s just warming up to the character. Red hat. months.

Hi ferball.

You drunk? You've logged on looking for fights.

Anyway. Her lyrics literally say she's gone right. So please take your attempts at justification and shove them up your ass :)
See this is why you have no idea about hip hop. Or anything really. Her lyrics are literally pointing to the false left/right divide, a form of manufactured consent, that enables the entire oligarchy (not just the faction you don't like) to thrive no matter if its dumbocrats or rethuglicans in power.

But if she has become a right whinger i'm sure you agree that its still a good thing that her fellow right whingers are exposed to her messaging on Israel's ongoing genocide and her calling out violence against women. Because surely anyone who promotes those ideas is doing God's work.

She blew up only in the last couple of days. I’m sure we’ll find out more about her as people dive into her. I’m sure there’s heaps of weirdos that will be spending hours going through her history.

For now, she’s just released a song that resonates with a lot of people about what’s been happening over the last couple of years.

She could end up legit, or she could be forgotten in a couple of months and then I guess she’ll just have to settle for being a medical doctor and a part time singer.

Not bad options

You don’t believe the lab leak? Tbh I haven’t followed that as closely as others, but isn’t it widely accepted that that’s the most likely cause of the pandemic?

I would welcome any sort of trivia contest, debate, or whatever when it comes to hip hop/rap vs you any day, any time, any where. :)

Yeah, nah.

"Mr Musk has said some shit, the leftists are angry..."

"If you go left, and I go right
Pray we make it out alive".

"Cause Fauci's laughing and we're asleep..."

It's a dog-whistle to the conservatives she's desperate to grift to. It's why she's so desperate to get Joe Rogan's attention, and why she's putting the cancel culture/covid-truther narrative front and centre.

Anyone with a brain can see this because she is being as subtle as a brick.

Immortal Technique literally has a song that states George Bush did 9/11.

And before you try and twist his words, he isn't implying that US foreign policy created a situation that led to extremism blah blah blah. That's not what Technique's song is suggesting. He literally thinks Bush did 9/11.

And that's one of his tamer conspiracy theories.

He is an infamous conspiracy theorist. If you weren't a sovereign citizen, you'd have the necessary awareness to recognise this.

You're talking about the song Bin Laden. I'll bet you've never even listened to it. Does prove my point about your ignorance of hip hop and how it uses language.

You're a privileged white guy with a house and a gubber job, criticising a black/latino guy who grew up on the street in New York, was in a gang, did time and used the opportunity to educate himself, then sold 50,000 cds out of the back of his car at underground gigs and used the money to fund an orphanage in Afghanistan with an international human rights group but no corporate or government funding.

"Oh but he's a conspiracy theorist".

Before that release this is what he said on "Cause of Death" a year earlier:

And just so conservatives don't take it to heart
I don't think Bush did it, 'cause he isn't that smart
He's just a stupid puppet takin' orders on his cell phone
From the same people that sabotaged Senator Wellstone
The military industry got it poppin' and lockin'
Lookin' for a way to justify the Wolfowitz Doctrine

Its a good song with one of the greatest opening lines of all time.

You're talking about the song Bin Laden. I'll bet you've never even listened to it.

Cool. You lose that bet. What do I win?

FWIW that song was an absolute staple on my burned MP3 cds in my car in the early 2000s.

I don't mind Immortal Technique - he's too edgelordy for my tastes now, but back when I was in my angsty edgelordy youth, he had a certain amount of appeal. I never said he was bad or that I disliked him - you put those words in to my mouth. But for you to deny he's a conspiracy theorist is hilarious because that's basically his entire persona. You pretty much can't google him without getting the words "conspiracy theory" returned alongside his name.

Oh **** off with this nonsense hahahahaha.

Cool.

On that same song he also literally raps the following bar;

"You think Illuminati is just a ****ing conspiracy theory?!"

He also suggests linkages between the 'New World Order' and 9/11. Again, same song.

And you know what? I know that song so well I didn't even have to look that shit up. It's burned into my memory, just like I burned it to mix-cds. So please, spare me your lame gatekeeping attempts when it comes to hip-hop.

How the world changes. I was introduced to rap when I was in grade 3 by my older brother,
first time I met him. He’s currently doing his residency at Port Phillip in social studies lol. Anyway he played me 6 in the Mornin’ and I was hooked. In no order, I grew up on NWA, ICE T, Public enemy, 2 live crew, Dead Presidents, BTIH, Death Row, Nas, No Limit..etc. Rage against the Machine.

They were hated by the right, but now they’d be hated by the left.

Funny how things work isn’t it ?

LOL this is such bullshit.

The right still hates black people and black culture.

I have 9 brothers and sisters and only grew up with 1 of them.

Not everyone comes from a perfect family.

There was no judgement in my question - my own family situation was non-traditional as well.

I was just confused by the way you worded it.
