To their credit, early on in the conflict the clique were very eager to point out that the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia and Kherson etc wanted to be independent and that it was a very good thing Russia had invaded to help protect these regions as they transition to independence, etc etc!

They haven't said dick about those same regions ever since Putin came outright at the end of 2022 and said that Russia has just taken them and they are new Russian territory.

I WONDER WHY.

I think anyone with more than ... somewhere between one and 100 million dollars (we should have a public debate about it but 5-10 million in cash and assets should be more than enough given how much the average house in the burbs costs these days,) should have that excess money seized, all resources should be owned and managed by the state and should fund universal healthcare and education as well as other state necessities like infrastructure. Not only should workers be paid well and get great benefits, part of wage should include lifetime ownership of what they make or build or else should be shares in the company they work for etc at least until Fully Automatic Luxury Communism happens.

That free markets are a scam and fair markets are one of the few uses for a state.

That caring for country, in the sense the blackfellas use it, is the most important goal a nation like ours can aspire to.

That no one should be discriminated against on the basis of their race/colour/genetics, sex, gender, sexuality, age or disability status.

That people should be able to change their minds thru the use of chemicals if they want and that proper education is the key to making that benefit society not harm it.

None of what we're talking about has anything to do with any of that tho.

I did. Crimea has plenty of resources, had plenty of industry at the time (before it was looted while the Ukrainians controlled it) and being a peninsula is geographically perfect for an independent autonomous state and had been part of Ukraine for less than 40 years when they first chased it.

I do find it funny that ferball and Val have both objected to being referred to as conspiracy theorists, and yet look at them like a moth to the flame with this LiveIsberger stuff.
