I like your rucks, but Skipper is out for upto 10 rounds. If you can find some spare cash trade up for warnock.
Top end of that foward line is graet but bottom half is a bit.. I wold downgrade O'Keefe to Tippett free up 140k Trade Hitchcock for Rockliff and then maybe get Balantyne who might be moving into the mids perminantly, looks the goods... Maybe even Ben Warran.

Your backline has to many questeon marks, pretty much every one of them does. From Shaw to Mackie ther is to many average - just above average without super stars. Downgrade 1 to ladson/Hunt/Raines(if he plays) and upgrade others.

Hille is a good choice at second ruck, i went ottens but may well switch before the season starts

Ladson has shown in the past he can score a tad under the 100 mark concistantly, although its him or Hunt. The first time I did my theam I had ottens, but then i checked him out, Has only Had 1 full season in his career and that was way back in 03 (i think) when he was still at Richmond. Good scorer but to risky for my liking. John brown plays more of a Half Fwd role and pushes into the midfield every now and then, and tends to Have a few I50s and Assists. I think he will be the more concistant 1 bettwen him and fev. Rockcliff has had a big pre season and Vossy loves him, he scored a 142 in week 1 of the NAB cup, aganst the dogs too.

Yeah agree about yarren, think the plan will be when the teams come out to organise my rookies, maybe trade out sheppard and upgrade yarren to a zeibell type player,

Taken a different approach this year, a bit of a gamble with some midfield rookies. I love my forward line and think my rucks are strong too. I'm convince Naitanui will do well.

Hurn is a super star best kick in the league i like him. Sheppard you should trade down for waters, who has scored huge before, I dont think Sheppard will even be named as an emergance for rnd 1. Mis should be good and should pay off, but Barlow is a better option than Jetta. Banner and shuey ar good back ups. Im not sold on NicNat but every1 else seams to be.. Maybe next season

Bailey is injured with a knee, and Charman is coming of injury and is third inline for a ruck job - Warnock a better option. Mid isnt great Hodge and Wells to weak to be no 2 and 3 espesially with 3 rookie mids on the ground. Goodes might be passed his best, but not in my eyes, Harvey will turn 32 but should still score well, no real injury wories in the past (besides the elbow). Duncan wont play I dont think Pods will either, Smith and Delaney look weak and Scully to expensive for the bench go for Barlow. Just Put Hodge in the bacline in place of Goodwinand upgrade wells and that 2nd mid poss.

Forwards: Not too many issues down here other than the Danger swap. Mid rookies can actually play, forwards generall fail in terms of consistant SC scores.

Backs: Looking solid, I personally think Hunt represents better value than one of Kennelly/Malceski just because they play the same role and you are less likely to have them steal points off each other.

Fix the backline, too many cash cows, just upgrade one into a premium like Hurn, Newman, Shaw.
Pretty good team though you're almost guaranteed to be in the boat of coaches with the rd 1 or 2 injury (like Raines, Hille or Ottens last year).

First up, i'd use that spare cash. Plenty of ways to use that. maybe up grade Kelly or Wells to a premium. I love Tom Scully, but there is better value elsewhere this year. M.Barlow (freo) is a better and cheaper option. Max Bailey is injured till half year i think so make a change there. Look at Robbie Warnock. Hitchcock (Port) is a good choice for forward bench too. Probably better than Duncan or Pods.

Found it funny when the team i posted earlier looked pretty strong. There was only $171K left. Without a doubt it is a strong side, but lacks any imagination. It would do well, but nothing flashy.
I would like to see someone post a side that essentially a gamble in itself. Lots of risk with lots of benefits should the team actually work. Krakouer in the backline, Ottens in the ruck with Nic Nat, Gia in the forward line, that sort of thing. People here seem to be following a very similar team to the one before it. One idea has become the central belief in most teams posted.
