I've also been re gigging my team, i'm not sure if i should put Davis in the midfield, to allow for the rotation of my fowards, or leave pendles in.


I'm now sitting on 11k in the bank, im quite happy ( atm with this side) and took some advice given into consideration.

But, i think Swallow may have reached his peak last year, and could be tagged this yeat. Hille is risky, whilst ROK will go down in price, I'd try and get him later. Also i think Sylvia is injured??

Backlines solid, i would chose hurn or shaw over grimes, too expensive for only playing 11 games last season.

midfields not too bad, dont no alot about green but im gathering you do?

Nice looking team! Seems to be pretty well balanced. A bit of risk in the rucks with Hille and Tippet but it coudl pay off. Hopefully Higgins has another impressive season. Also hope eski and Gram don't let you down.

You might want to have Tippett and Lobbe in different positions so you can swap them with if your fwds or rucks have injury problems.

maybe upgrade gram as he did not have great pre season
possibly also downgrade hall for medhurst. only a suggestion.
not sure about rucks as i have same dilemma
i would swap for robbie gray. he will be great this season (all australian)
upgrading rookies are your choice. i have exact same rookies as you on the field so i would say keep them but wait for other opinions.
probably wait for a rookie to rise then trade for a mid priced IF you want but probably not neccesary.

okay team
personally would not have kruezer. look for maybe hille/nic nat
fwds a bit weak. try get a medhurst/ballantyne/rockliff as ziebell is a good player but has not showed much in terms of scoring points
and maybe throw tippet up fwd then u can keep kreuzer if you want

3 rookies starting in midfield is risky but could pay of
good rucks
good fwd line but get rid of watts. be very surprised if plays this year.
try replace him with gumbleton/rockliff who has been great in pre season for lions
also mentioned it before ziebell probably not the best scorer - try medhurst/dangerfield even

Like most other people I have tinkered with my team yet again!

How about this for a fwd line:
Original: Roo, ROK, Pav, Brown, Hall, Warren, Rocky
Now: Roo, ROK, Brown, Betts, Hall, Warren, Rocky

My thinking behind this is that without Fev Betts may get more opportunity and score better. I have also used the cash I have freed up to upgrade Green in my midfield to Bartel.
