I think your guns are questionable. Gilbee looks like his best days are behind him and struggled with a forward tag. Check on Harbrow's fitness. Harvey is 32 and whilst an absolute star 1 injury at that age can end everything very quickly. ROK has had an interrupted preseason.

Cotchin, Higgins & Waters are injury prone.

With Chapman, ROK, Higgins & Krakouer in the forward line you may be swamped with injuries & Franklin does get suspended a lot.

Unsure on Scully & Morton. No doubt both have talent but will Scully improve enough to become a keeper? Will Morton get enough time in the Tigers' midfield competing against Deledio, Tuck, Jackson, Grigg, Cotchin, Martin, Foley, Houli, White & maybe Conca? Do Connors & Edwards play in there as well?

Interesting stategy with your ruck selections. Jacobs is no certainty to start in Crows' ruck and we'll have to see how the sub rule effects Craig's selection policy of 2 rucks.

Can you give any info on Derickx as he is on my radar atm?

Check the fitness of Judd. I know that ROK & Knights have had injuries in the preseason. Pav looks like his best days are behind him but is reliable.

LeCras has had 2 outstanding seasons yet only managed 85 (2010) & 82 (2009) never getting above a 14 disposal average in 5 years of AFL now. If he were to be moved into the midfield he'd be a gun but he is the best small/medium forward in the AFL and unlikely to be moved. Not much upside.

As with so many others you have a forward line that could bring multiple injuries - Chapman, ROK (due to his preseason), Knights, Petrie & Krakouer.

You have 4 backs with DP but no mids to swap them with.

Thanks for the input mate. I'll fix the forward situation.

I'm actually pretty confident Lycett will get some games this year, mainly up forward I think, I picked him due to his marking and goal kicking prowess hoping he may get boosted points for minutes played.

I knew about Knight's injury ( only minor I think ) but not Varcoe, I'll have to check that out.

Surely you have a little cash left over?

Your backline has the same first 3 players as most, which is fine, Drummond and Murphy are risks but have the potential to score big whilst Drum & Tarrant are unknowns.

Mids are solid with Cotchin being the risky pick that could pay off big time.

Rucks are solid again, interesting to see how Goldstein goes this year.

Forward line looks very injury prone to me and Morton is up and down with his form although he did have a strong finish to the 2010 season.

Defence: Very solid. Not sure about enright. I think he could take a dip this season. Careful with jacobs - he has galandular fever.
Mids: Shuey can be a bit injury prone. Others are all quality pics.
Rucks: Matthew Clarke is apparently flying this preseason. That might take away a little fromt he Burger man.
Forwards: Are pav's scores on the decline? I think so, but he is a star. He may prove me wrong. As a crows man, Callinan is a great pick. Guarantee he will make you some coin this year. So skilful and dominated our trial match last Friday. He is all class.

Lake - Had a lot of surgery this offseason and is questionable for round 1. I expect a price drop initially.
Everitt - dont mind this pick. Sydney has a habit of turning average players into quality.
Bruce - he's what... 31? 32? Too risky. Guys at that age rarely improve.
K. Hunt - seriously?
Ablett - too risky. His team mates were a big reason for him getting so much ball at geelong. I wouldnt spend 600k+ on an unpredictable situation.
Judd - suspended round 1 isnt he?
Brown - he struggled so much with injury last year. Even if he's fit, that brisbane midfield isnt going to give him quality supply. His awesome start last year coincided with brisbane's awesome start. Brisbane started losing and Brown's scores dried up. (granted, he was carrying an injury). I would not pick him.
Pods - all his value was used up last year. You want to spend 450k-500k (cant remember his price) on a guy who faded off as the season came to a close, and has not shown he is capable of maintaining those scores over a long period? If Im spending that much, im looking at a guy like buddy - someone who has proven his worth over a number of years.
Sam Day - Young KPPs generally start slowly. Look at Jack watts. Good option for your bench. Not for your field.
Milera - Dont select him. Crows may have pinched this guy from under your nose, but its highly unlikely he will play this year with Callinan, jaensch and porps easily in front of him.

Thanks for the feedback, its the first version of the structure I'm looking at going with, so obviously there will be some tweaks over the NAB games. There are a few players I have my eye on for the ones you raised doubts over but want to make sure that they are right to go before committing.

Pretty solid mate. Jack will be a gun this year although he was already pretty good last year! All I can say is good luck in round 6 when Cats, Hawks and Freo have the bye!! (although leagues take a break). Rucks Maybe a bit weak though.. Might be worth upgrading Mummy to Sandy or Warnock to a Jolly or even Goldstein who I've heard is potentially got the number 1 ruck role. If you need cash maybe downgrade one of those 4 mids or 5 backs who are quite expensive. But good luck

This is my third attempt for advice so hope this ones the charm!

BACKS: Goddard, Deledio, Enright, Bock, Adcock, Otten, Heppell (Hooper, Talia, Johnson(syd))

MIDS: Judd, Pendlebury, Boyd, Bartel, Krakouer, Swallow (Iles, Blease, Pittard)

RUCKS: Sandilands, Petrie (Campbell, Bathie)

FWDS: Riewoldt, Franklin, Pavlich, Sylvia, Varcoe, Dangerfield, Mzzzungu (Prestia, Smith, Callinan)

DEF: Dunno about Enright this year myself. And as a Sydney supporter I personally wouldn't be looking at Johnson (not until I know for sure he's in the team list and assured a run for a couple of weeks that is). I think there are other more viable options out there. Maybe as you don't have any Blues in there Duigan or the talk of the town in Puopolo??
MID: Looks good to me...
RUC & FWD: I'm not sold on Varcoe and for that little extra cover I'd use Varcoes spot for Petrie up fwd (swap one of your bench rucks for Tippett J) and get myself a new 2nd Ruckman (If you swap Petrie for Tippett and get Goldstien that might work).

But then again, if you are sold on those I am not then go for it buddy. Nothing like a gut instinct I reckon. Good luck.
