Your backs look fairly good. Interesting centres. Jacobs I'm pretty sure has just been diagnosed with Glandular Fever, so maybe check that out. I like your onfield rucks, but not a big fan of your bench. I think there are better cheap options out there. Have a look through the NAB cup to see who is getting games and buzz. I'm personally not a fan of Goodes, I think his best is behind him, and I like Prestia ahead of Day and is a cheaper option. My best tip, particularly on your rookies, is watch the NAB cup for who is in favour at their clubs and performing well.

Bit of a concern if Laidler is your 4th back. In Cricket terms your backline has a long tail.Mids, I'd move Goddard down back and get a premo that's cheaper. Move Gibbs down back as well. Not sure how Scully will go this year. Jamar and Petrie is a different combo. Don't think Jamar will get any better then last year.Fwds? Goodes is tapering. Won't avg over 100 anymore you would think. LeCras, unless playing mids will be hit and miss. Pettard is injured at the mo but a useful pick if he can stay on the park.

Got some good and some different picks. Need to tinker if you want to be a top side.

Ok. backline looks solid. Keep an eye on Adcock. Hope he can get some of the 07 form back. NKrak should have a good year. Had Murphy last year and even though he avgs well over a 100 he just lacks the Judd appeal and scores.. Mind you Juddy's pre season hasn't been 100%. Also watch Cotchin in the NAB and check the form. Had a decent pre season for a change. Good ruck, although you could get away with Petrie playing instead of benchwarming. Fwd line has huge potential. Tippet is way risky, Sylvia can win and lose you games. Nice looking team though..

Backline is pretty solid, Hurley and Everitt are good uniques, both are a chance for breakout seasons this year.
Midfield is ok, I would get rid of Liberatore & replace Prestia/I. Smith/Callinan from your forward line into Libers spot because you have 7 mid/fwd multi position players there, swapping 2 players between positions would be very handy when theres the multiple teams having byes.
Rucks are standard, most people will have that combo.
Forward line is great, would just bring in Cam Richardson for one of you mpp that you will put in libers spot.
Very good initial starting squad, Hurley & Everitt are the risks your taking IMO.
If it was me, I would swap Hurley & Everitt with Gibbs & Coad.

Enright - May get more of a run in the midfield now abletts gone, so could be worth his price.
Drummond - big risk but if anychance of him getting back to his 07 form, im taking the chance.
Otten - For his price, worth buying! could rise in price quickly as he will slot right back into the side due to the departure of bock.
Heppell - Should get lots of chances during the season and the price will definately rise
Poupolo - should get some games in the hawks squad so price will rise
Toy - Cheap for what hes worth, could of easily been a top 5 draft pick.
Duigan - Exactly what the blues need in their backline, will get consistant games.

Midfields
Swan - Need i say more?
Selwood - Will lead the cats midfield now abletts gone, look for big scores
Gibbs - Can score big, the use of the MPP will be a bonus with deledio, goddard and heppell all swapable

Gaff - Should get plenty of games at the wooden spooners, lots of spots to fill in the squad.
Atley - worth his price and could rise alot
Wallis - havent heared alot, but could play games at the aging dogs squad.

Forward line I would downgrade Pav and Goodes(he will not avg 100 IMO) and maybe replace them with Higgins and Dangerfield. Both players are in their 4th year and look like having a break out year. This will give you and extra $250k to use on upgrading your midfield.

I used the 3 rookie stategy last year, and finished in the top 115 overall. I'd recommend it to anybody.

I used the 3 rookie stategy last year, and finished in the top 115 overall. I'd recommend it to anybody.
