I just feel the cats are a bit off the boil, happens midseason. The dogs throwing the ball is just ridiculous. Need to make better use of the chances at goal, we should be 5 goals in front right now. If the Cats can just get that killer instinct going I don;t think the dogs really have what it takes to beat them. The Bont though is a terrific footballer.

I think we'll win this as we have too much quality but it seems like our forward 50 entires have gone back to their old ways. Nothing efficient about the forward line tonight. Not having Sav hasn't helped but we've gone back to blindly just bombing it in and the Dogs have numbers back there

I usually enjoy Cats games...this performance is turgid and a total borefest.....

apart from Danger, Stewart and perhaps Clark, there hasn't been much inspirational from the side...

PS: Maybe Henry has been ok...its a yawn fest...

Yep we dont want dickson up and about :moustache: .
Yep, the reason being that he (Dickson) is a confidence player, that can kick goals.

will be a test for the defense working without JK, I suspect they and we will find out how vital he has become

That's interesting in itself, Kolo has been far better than many have given him credit for.

Actually liked a lot of what our players are doing, in particular regarding our younguns.

Have to agree. Unusual lack of intensity; maybe both teams are wary of been opened up, therefore boring football

Gee, this has to be the worst game I've seen this year. Shocking stuff. No doubt it'll open up but I'm not sure that's a good thing for us. The Dogs can't play any worse either. This actually looks like a bottom of the ladder clash between to battler teams. Not good.

There has always been a way that in some games a bottom side can drag a good one down.. but in our situation it only makes one question .. just how good are we? We play poorly when we cant take marks.

Its games like this that make one question where the game is heading... chess master mindset game style will say ..its all about this or that.. but really over coached games like this reduce the sport to a lesser spectacle. If clubs want to flood the whole ground..up and down like its basketball .. they should not complain if the rules are changed for less rotations or less players on the ground.

I doubt the club or CS will be apologising to all the fans for such a poor standard of football.. there will just be more double talk about take the win and move one... thats if we win of course. Maybe we get more of response from a loss

We are, clear as day to see. When you see Geelong players colliding together on many occasions, it’s a clear indicator that we haven’t come switched on.

In a way we’re lucky the dogs have been horrid too.

It almost seems like a post bye type of game doesn't it..
